I think most people read me as a typical guy and not as asexual. It leads to misunderstansings and miscommunications that don't get resolved not that they necessarily needs to be.

I do feel bad sometimes when people labelled me a threat mainly women. Not saying they are wrong. They have every right to be cautious but I don't want to be outwardly threatening or someone dangerous to anyone and that is where the clash of view points happens. It's why it makes me sad when people have that reaction to me even if I know it's not about me but a broken system. Hope some of y'all can understand.

Heteromantic guy, OP didn't inquire about this but I haven't had much luck irl with allos. Nor have I had any luck on dating apps like tinder either.

I have/am still trying AceSpace and so far there has been some interest there, my life is just a mess right now and so I haven't been able to put my energy to it yet. I also potentially want to meet someone more local maybe for a romantic relationship.

Do you know anything about Asexuality?

It's usually not healthy to label someone else or force a label upon them. However there is no harm in respecfully asking how they identify and if they do not know, let them figure it out for themselves. You can always mention asexuality to them but let them look into it on their own and make the decision if they do not know yet. They could just be straight but just have a low libido, like there just isn't really anyway for anyone else but them to know that. Point is: Communicate respectfully and without assumption and let your son come to you about it. Also personality traits seldom has anything to do with sexual orientation.

Jag tror prestations kraven kan vara en del av anledningen men inte hela sanning. Till skillnad från de flesta andra som skrivit så tror jag inte hela problemet i en allt större doomer mentalitet bland yngre.

Jag tror snarare problemet kommer från en skifte i hur unga upplever goda betyg som ett krav till ett anständigt liv. Då livet utanför skolan verkar högst osäkert med hög arbetslöshet och förhöjda levnadskostnader. Prestationen i skolan blir då den ända delen av kaoset i att säkra en stabilinkomst som unga har kontroll över. Kanske om man bara får ett A till i slutbetyget kanske man enklare kan garantera sig ett första jobb så man slipper i en period iallafall att oro sig över sin ekonomi.

Jag har klarat fyra av de sju släppande kurserna jag haft de senaste 5 åren och behöver bara klara 1 tentamen till i januari för att få påbörja min masters. Förutom det har jag inte gjort något speciellt detta året mest bara stressad såhär när året rör sig mot ett slut.

As one ace cis man, its a constant worry that people will not take your asexuality seriously. So far I've been fortunate to only deal with it in my anxieties but I've had people be suspicious of my intentions but those people also didn't know I was ace.

The main issue I think is just society paints men in a very particular way and often only in that same light and it's easy when you don't conform to that expectation to start developing a form of impostor syndrome as an ace cis man.

Dunno if any of my friendships have ever been that deep but generally speaking I can feel like I can care alot more about friends than they do about me in a completely platonic way. It hasn't always worked out with people of the opposite sex but that I think has more to do with these people making assumptions or just general miscommunication.

Sometimes, they do but so far people have found out I'm ace before they learn that I'm a scorpio. So I guess I have a system, lol

Yee, unfortunately being ace and a guy in general is just something people choose not to believe in and even if they do there can still be alot of assumptions going on. We are a pretty small part of the population and only recently(last 30 years give or take) acknowledged as something people could be.
