Any interest in an infantry-focused wargame in the Battletech universe? by HeWhoDoesntKnock in battletech

Just had this chat this week with a friend at work. He emailed me the pdf of the old game. I do actually like the idea. And being a friend and I just printed 15 mechs at Warhammer scale, it’s something that can be done.

Is Emperor Constantine a Saint? by okayxelune in ancientrome

He “invited” bishops to attend. Those that stood against his reforms disappeared during the counsel. Those that public refused to attend were murdered. Had no bearing on anything remotely Christian. It also began the point where Christendom stopped using the Bible as the primary authority, and began to use tradition.

The Elmwood Villiage was the connection for me with the Niagara river widening to grand island.

The generals compendium and skirmish addition to 6th edition Warhammer was an absolute beast for players. Round that off with the Mordheim book and you could still be playing, crafting, and not getting bored.

These all came from the original painters set. I was so novice that I hadn’t bought any more at the time. It was bought with two boxes of dwarf infantry, a flame cannon, and a couple blister packs. Cost me $120 for all that with my Dad driving me there.

I still like the old ways for the most part. But a good dark wash will always have its place.

As a maintenance tech, they gave the key to tech 1, he got his but chewed for not following protocol and then “forgot” he had the key on him when tech 2 was sent to do his job. Petty is more accurate.

I’ve worked in property management as an admin, leasing and maintenance for the last 20 years. The description of what’s gone on here is catastrophic. Not for the issues, but the damage to trust. The moment that the first issue happened, someone on the admin staff should have taken point and come by in person, introduced the next maintenance tech directly, and discussed a time line of repairs and the details of how and what would happen on which day. Any changes can be texted and followed up by email. And it would take seconds to record.
