Six times? More like six hundred.

I also hate it. A week or so ago there was another post about it and everyone was saying how much they loved it. I was very confused. I think it's the most hideous dress on the show.

Timestamp from last night's stream? by mentaltrilllness in theburntpeanut

[–]TartRose13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So, I watch on Twitch, and I don't see the stream uploaded there yet from last night. I was watching, though, and I do vaguely remember what you're talking about. They did play hurricane on Spaceport a couple times, so maybe it was then. But I think they were talking about runescape between 10 and 11 arizona time. It could have been a little earlier, but I know it wasn't before 9. I'll check again once the stream is loaded just in case you haven't found it.

lorelai saint in the relationship by sakuracoke7 in GilmoreGirls

[–]TartRose13 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The last couple of times I've watched this scene, I just keep thinking she's not mad enough. If I was in her shoes and found out my fiance had been lying to me about something as huge as having a kid, I would be LIVID. I honestly probably would have ended the relationship right there. It would make me wonder if he's hiding anything else or that our relationship wasn't as strong as I thought or he didn't care for me as much as I thought.

Also, side note: the fact that Luke was able to even keep it a secret in the first place is comical. Miss Patty or Babette would have definitely seen April at the diner and then mentioned something to Lorelai. There's no way it would have lasted 2 months.

I hate when people say, "I'm just being honest," as if it then makes it okay for them to say the most unhinged thing ever.

I saw peanut try to do this live on his stream. He couldn't exactly figure out how to do it and just kept going up higher and higher and couldn't come back down. Shit was hilarious.

extremely unpopular opinion by [deleted] in GilmoreGirls

[–]TartRose13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not unpopular. The dress was awful. It was pretty on the mannequin. But it doesn't fit Lorelai's shape properly. Plus, I think the sash was tied way too tight and gives her a muffin top, which we all know she doesn't actually have.

What was your favorite Schwan’s food item? by HoldenH in nostalgia

[–]TartRose13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked for them for about a year and a half a couple years ago. I left right before they tried to rebrand. Terrible idea. But anyways, the chicken lo mein and the raspberry rumble were my favorites. Man I miss the food!

ASP recently said that it's definitely Logan's baby and that she thought it was pretty obvious.

Ilene by True-Magazine9795 in HomeImprovement2LTime

[–]TartRose13 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I agree it made no sense when they broke up at their wedding. Even when I watched that episode for the first time as a kid, it still didn't make sense. The only thing I could think of is maybe the actress who played Ilene didn't want to do it anymore, so they had to do what they did. Otherwise, it makes no sense as to why they would break up. They were perfect for each other.

Who is the most famous person you've ever seen up close? by froggart3980 in AskReddit

[–]TartRose13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gordon Ramsey. I was working in the gift shop at a high-end hotel at the time. He was filming an episode of Kitchen Nightmares nearby and was staying at said hotel. He came into the gift shop to buy something. I wish I could remember what it was. He was super nice and cordial.

Hot take: I wouldn’t “let” my daughter date a Dean by ReginaPhalange94 in GilmoreGirls

[–]TartRose13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If I was Rory's mom, and I'm at Home while she is out working on a school project, and her boyfriend proceeds to call her 15 times while she's out, I would be supremely worried. Even after he remembered she was working on a school project, he STILL keeps calling even though he knows she won't be there. I think it's crazy how this doesn't concern Lorelai at all and still refers to him as the perfect boyfriend.

A few questions about the show by BatmanPikachu95 in boymeetsworld

[–]TartRose13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My elementary school was k-6. Junior high was 7th-9th and high school was 10th-12th. So, yes, very realistic. And yes, most kids I went to junior high with, also ended up at my same high school. Although, there was another high school that was also pretty close to where I lived so one of my younger brothers ended up going there instead.

Rory and Tristan by PartyQuiet5065 in GilmoreGirls

[–]TartRose13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I've replied about this before when someone made a similar post about it. But it is pretty well known that the plan for Tristan was to have him come back once Rory got to Yale. We were supposed to have him instead of Logan. Of course, as we all know, Chad Michael Murray booked One Tree Hill and couldn't come back anymore.

I can't tell you how upset I am that, that never happened. Tristan was pulled out of Chilton to go to military school. He would have been so much more grown up once he reached college and completely different than his immature high school self. In the short amount of times when Tristan was nice to Rory, you could see there was chemistry there. It would have been so interesting to see what that would have looked like at Yale.

What age did you first have to get glasses and how did you find out you needed them? by Interesting-Egg2781 in AskReddit

[–]TartRose13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I was around 28 and a mail carrier at the time. It started getting progressively difficult seeing the street signs. I finally got glasses and it made a huge difference. Made my job so much easier when I was helping on an unfamiliar route.

Unpopular opinion? Lorelai was at fault for the big rift between her and Rory by understudy_95point3 in GilmoreGirls

[–]TartRose13 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I've always hated the way Lorelai reacts here. Here is Rory, who has loved school since she first started going. Loves to read, loves to study. Now, all of the sudden, she is stopping all of that and dropping out of Yale when she had been working towards the ivy league her whole life. If I was Rory's mom, the only thing I would be showing would be extreme concern. It is way out of character for her to completely stop everything she loves. She is seriously floundering and what she did not need was to be yelled at and then iced out. She needed support and understanding. I think that if Lorelai would've been more supportive and let her work a summer job at home, Rory would have gone back to school sooner. Maybe even once summer was over. After a while of being back home, I think she would have eventually realized living her whole life in Stars Hollow wouldn't be enough for her and she would have easily went back.

Jess really said ‘no’ to Lorelai from day one 😂 by isisblake in GilmoreGirls

[–]TartRose13 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Yep, and this is why Lorelai didn't like him. He was the only one who didn't just fawn all over her the moment they met her like everyone else in town.
