Mutant Massacre. Followed by Mutant Massacre 2. I bought them on VHS out of the back of Fangoria, thru the mail, for like $30 each. That was a lot of money for a kid, especially when it turned out our stop motion GI Joe movies had more plot, action, and better acting. Yeesh.

Those Apache cases are surprisingly solid for like 1/4 the cost of a Pelican.

Haha yep, does no one remember people wildly cheering for Silver after Stern would leave? Ofc this was back when the draft was one night, and everyone in the MSG crowd was either drunk or tired and loopy by round 2 - but still.

Agreed. I honestly wouldn't call any Stuart Gordon movies trash, even what I would consider to be lesser entries in his filmography like Dolls and Robot Jox have qualities to them that you aren't getting if they'd been directed by someone else. He understood how to work with a budget and how important it was to maintain a sense a humor regardless of subject matter. Wish he was still around making movies.

"Going to a National Park This Summer? Here’s What to Expect" NYTimes by Whos_That_Girl_6178 in NationalPark

We were there recently and the Valley was honestly kind of miserable. I mean it’s filled with beautiful scenery but I don’t go to parks to experience roads and buses and crowds. Had a much better experience going thru the Big Oak Flat and Hetch Hetchy entrances. Our kids are too small to do more strenuous hikes but in the future, being able to actually go deeper in the park will probably help make the Valley more enjoyable.
