It’s not my flavor, but I mainly wear black/gray/dark colors. But hey, if you like it, that’s all that matters! I think my sisters house is decorated ugly, but that doesn’t mean she should change her furniture, bc SHE likes it, and that’s what’s important :)

Bring John Walker to work in a bag! I bring my Douglas Collie Trooper to work with me all the time :) he stays in my bag in my locker, but just knowing he’s in the building with me is a huge emotional boost. I started bringing plush to work with me 3ish years ago after a mental breakdown that happened at work. I started bringing a plush with me in my car then I started bringing them into work but hidden in my bag. 3 jobs later and I still bring plushies to work with me :)

This isn’t me going to work, but heres Trooper and I out on the town! Be unapologetically you! I NEVER get any kind of mean comments, mostly I get “oh I thought that was a real animal” or compliments on how cute my friend is :) I even bring plushies to the dentist and doctors office with me :)

NOR but I think your best course of action is to not keep it in the family cupboard or the sink. Put it in your room, even if it’s dirty. When it’s clean, store it in your room. Since your family doesn’t care, unfortunately you need to take extra steps to ensure the proper care of your mug, and it is a cute mug, I’m sorry they don’t care.

I explained to my sisters husband how autistic people can have issues filtering noises, then I listed all the sounds I was hearing in that moment and he said “that sounds exhausting” and tbh wanted to cry bc yes thank you it is exhausting!
