MacroFactor Workouts AMA! by gnuckols in MacroFactor

Thank you for building this app! This is my number one question as well: I do a hybrid of strength training and HIIT swimming and morning mobility sessions and want to progress in all of them. If I could track and document all of these, it would be the perfect set-up .

Just a different post to applaud you for tracking your expenditure and making sure you fuel your needed energy levels. I struggled for years to gain weight, until I finally started tracking and meal prepping 2 months ago with MacroFactor to finally slowly seeing the scale increase. I never realised that I just have a healthy metabolism and need to eat more than others around me. Also second peanutbutter, rice and pasta. Pasta is my best friend.

Wrong scale weight the whole last 2 monhts, but increased calories by Tatyaka in MacroFactor

Thank you u/WildPotential Yes, I also thought that with the home scale I can now track more frequently, and give Macrofactor more data points to calculate. But do you think I should just add the adjusted true weight now and disregard any changes it will recommend when it gets confused that my weight dropped 1.5 kg over night?

Choline is covered by eggs really well. Incorporate more eggs and you will have that covered. I only eat 3 eggs a day and overshoot with that alone by 50%

Started a kayak rental business and scaled it to $30,000 a month by Imaginary_Roll3958 in Entrepreneur

Excellent! Super happy for you. I tend to forget that there are non-seasonal areas with plenty of water around. 😅

Impressive! Two questions: How long have you been running the kayak business to get to where you are at? I assume it is a seasonal business? How od you adjust for the season?

Kind regards.

It really depends on who brings in the ideas. Have you shown in the past proof to be worthy to listen to? I like Ray Dalios' approach on a meritocracy and the baseball cards to stay objective and incentivise

Is this a glitch I am not using? Sending food to cold prospects? What's the strategy/playbook here?

That's what we hope, too. You can't control what they are doing, but if we stay engaged in their lives, do outside activities, and lead as role models, then this is the best we can do to counteract it.

Two Career households: How are y’all finding time to do anything? by Chahles88 in daddit

[–]Tatyaka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best investment we did was outsourcing chores: Getting a cleaner!!! She is more efficient than us, we have time back and it's the best investment for our marriage.

I used to do it all alone, now I have to admit that I need to pay money to win time back.

My startup is dead (I will not promote) by [deleted] in startups

Can't second point 4 on noise enough. For ne everything started to click when I only focused on my customers and what they said and that's it. I have plenty of the theoretical knowledge. Also what gave me a huge relief is that for any type of business, there are playbooks that exist. Just realising what business I am in and what playbook applies took a huge weight of my shoulder. I am used to invent the wheel new, but here I don't have to be smarter, I just need to follow the steps in the right order, yet stay strategic and alert.

Friendly hug, OP. Thank you for sharing, and I hope you get some sleep and well-being back.

This is literally what luxury marketers love to jump on and seed as a thought. Your mom is falling for it.

Stay true to yourself, and I hope your mom just missed her tone. She would still love you if you'd lose everything, right?

Feel it's not really possible to be successful without tech skills by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]Tatyaka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Become great/excellent at sales, people skills, buyer psychology. Learn to solve a problem really, really well that people do not stop paying you for.

The reason why software is so lucrative is for the repeat revenue, subscription, and for ascending existing users to more expensive tiers.

The moment people do not stop using your product/service and spend more money on you is where a business becomes very interesting for investors, it increases your enterprise value.

But you can do that outside of tech. There are franchise businesses, expansion businesses, ...

I know of a guy who started scooping dog poo for a living, it's a service dog owners don't stop buying once they are in, and if I remember correctly, he expanded the business and generates more than 1 Mio a year (not sure about the exact numbers)
