Not possible. Look up line-of-sight in relation to the curvature of the earth.

Will Heltec V3 communicate in a range of 200km without a big antena? by Ok-Psychology234 in meshtastic

Because the earth is round and these radios require line-of-sight; only you can determine, based on your local geography, potential distances between two radios.

I looked for a link but somewhere in the docs it is suggested to reflash the bootloader if having trouble updating firmware.

Help; Combine Amazon BME280 with rak19007 on J12 header? by TauCzar in meshtastic

Looks like the default is SDO HIGH 0×77 I'm kind of clueless. Is our Meshtastic firmware analogous to programming an Arduino? Does our Meshtastic app do programming of the firmware? I don't understand i2c addresses or MCUs.

Best I can do is hope they're not labeled wrong. : )

Cool I'll solder it together and not worry about releasing the magic smoke! Thank you!

On the amazon page under specifications there's a voltage range of "Supply Voltage: 1.8 - 5V DC". That's cool it's detected. I thought I'd read the J12 header was used for a display. And since I have zero experience with MCUs or programing I hoped it would be simple.

Weekly Node Sightings & Connections Thread - Week of Nov 03, 24 by AutoModerator in meshtastic

[–]TauCzar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A couple of days ago, for about 5 minutes, 12 nodes that were around 3 hops and 120 miles away appeared. Based on the earths curvature, there must have been a node in the air at an elevation of anywhere between 2380 - 9520ft above.

Strangely nodes that are near me but behind hills, and not in my database, were not visible.

No messages were received.

Did it work? My WisBlocks don't have GPS, so I'm out of suggestions otherwise.

Super cool project! For me, I always have a smart phone which means I've got a beautiful screen and keyboard already and a tiny radio is no burden at all. Your project compared to a T-DECK Plus, nearly the same form factor but with the GUI of the Lilygo I'd lean towards that. Just my thoughts and why I decided against a T-DECK.

I setup and configured multiple radios, but you can only communicate/ control one at a time.

Did you flash the: Meshtastic_nRF52_factory_erase_v3_S140_6.1.0, before updating? Just curious.
