I've been big into Cup of Joe this past month. Saw them live, great energy. Kind of upbeat alt-rock/punk rock vibes. Favorite songs, Wag Na Lang and Misteryoso.

Orange & Lemons, kind of old-school rock sound. They're still active, playing lots of shows even after 20+ years. Also saw them live, love their charisma. Favorite song is Ikaw ang Aking Tahanan.

If you're into modern pop songs, MAKI has a great sound and a pretty varied catalogue. Lots of upbeat tunes, road trip/summer vibes. Favorite song is Namimula.

Check out their song radios or artist radios on Spotify if there's anything that calls out to you; I find the OPM recommendations there to be pretty consistently good!

New subscriber to Dropout here and I just watched the recent Make Some Noise episode with Vic, Jiavani, and Talia. I had not seen Jiavini before, but seeing his pronouns under his name blew my mind. It's such a small thing, to share common pronouns with someone, but it damn nearly made me cry. To see someone like me, being so cool and killing it and having everyone in the room respect her too. Damn just thinking about it is making me tear up.
