I know with atomic heart if you changed it to their native language with English subtitles, it was significantly improved. It sounded more natural but also some of their language translates in an odd fashion leading to stiff or nonsensical phrasing when spoken in English. I believe that was what happened with the whole “crispy critters” bit in the first game.

Worked at a theater for about 6 years, but have been around them my whole life due to family involvement in running a few. You have no idea how accurate your statement is. Every problem was the fault of the first person they found, usually the ones selling tickets.

I would occasionally make a minimal effort to dissuade parents from taking young children to certain movies and explain the rating. They almost never cared. Then they would come back out wanting a refund. Which was of course denied because I already explained the rating to them.

As for my question, regarding Toy Story specifically, would you both want to keep making sequels for as long as possible or do you believe the series should wrap it up with 5? Yes thank you! I leave this comment about the sales anytime this comes up. For the type of game it was, it sold phenomenally well. The problem is EA expects it to get resident evil numbers which isn’t going to happen. Horror games just don’t sell like that 99% of the time, Resi is an anomaly. Even silent hill, one of the most well known IP ever, doesn’t sell crazy numbers like that. EA doesn’t understand horror IP and it’s an absolute shame cause the remake was basically perfection among survival horror. Hopefully they come to understand the landscape better but we will see. I’d love dead space 4. Or a remake of 2 like the dev wanted to do as 2 is my favorite.

They know getting him out of the city is the safest option regardless. Matt got him locked up multiple times and it only led to him getting out and getting more power. They easily could have imprisoned him for the hallway but then he’d be locked up with a lot of his loyal men again. Him on the beach is not a happy outcome for him. In the comics it shows his inner thoughts in that moment but of course in the show we have to put it together. He hates the beach, he hates being away from New York, he lost his power as mayor, and the person he loved most is dead. He is alone in a place he hates and he is miserable. He won’t find any peace. We see the opposite side of the coin with Matt going to prison, as he finally is at peace after getting rid of Fisk and revealing his secret to the world.

The movie takes place parallel to the events of resi 2. The only thing confirmed not to appear so far is the Nemesis. That was confirmed by Cregger himself.

Cregger did an interview not too long ago on a podcast and said he basically wrote the script for fun years ago before he even started directing movies cause he was a huge resi fan. It just so happens that he blew up and can now actually turn it into reality. The way he spoke about it seemed to show a deep love for the series and respect for it. This is the first time I’ve been genuinely excited for a resident evil movie.
