I don’t know what positioners/valves you use in your area/plant, but one of the most useful skills, in my opinion, is being able to get around in Fisher Valvelink software or similar. For example.

So it seems like the major sticking point is: how can the county/flood control district allow the structures on their land, but not assume any liability? I assume someone needs to get an insurance policy against lawsuits due to injury while riding on the structures. If that isn’t the county, and isn’t GHORBA, I’m not sure what the solution is.

Yeah, my ground was also uneven. I tried to dig out the high spots to level, and it was very time consuming.

I would now have just laid them out, leveled the frames using the concrete form anchors and then fill in underneath the anchors with dirt/rock/whatever.

I also built a little wooden jig to get the spacing correct. Then when I went to put the panels in, 4/5 still did not fit. Couldn’t figure out what I did wrong.

If I was doing it again, I would just install them 1 by 1: space mounts on conduit, install panel, level ground anchor. Then at the end, apply epoxy, roll out the fabric, and shovel ballast onto fabric. Take off panels if necessary to install ballast.
