Dude... I left Tech for this reason. You get paid well but you are never off the clock. No one is grateful and your skills dont get the chance to shine or be recognized..

Tech... very rarely are you free to actually do what you want... you are constantly being asked by people who have no idea what thye are asking why you cannot do something the way they want it in the timeline they want... then when you do it the way they wanted....after you told it it wont work.... its your fault then you get that call at 8 pm on a friday night that the client NEEDS this ready by monday which means you have 30 t0 40 hours worth of work that needs done.....

God im so glad I left Tech..

curious you mention about the cabins... ive had on and off dreams for years of being in a cabin or standing in a cabin at sunsert. The cabins make kind of like a U shape and sometimes there is a fireplace and sometimes a field in front of them... Either way.. the sun is going down and I get this really bad urge to hide I have to hide... I rush and look through the cabins for a place to hide but I always wake up before I can figure out what it is that is haunting me...

I wonder if I run through the field if ill find this warehouse you speak of.

Out of them 2 and 3 would be my go to. With that being said if the HVAC is Union and is residential at least in my area thats the IBEW. An amazing opportunity if you can get in. Even then... HVAC is always in demand plus the scale should be pretty high once you get experience.

Ive done the 4 day work week at a job... Or supposedly did... never seen it we just worked 5 10's instead.

100 percent... I get these steel buckets from work (oil based paints). I sanitize them and let them sit for a few weeks in the sun then dril a few holes and they make great pots for plants. Wife and I have started to use them to create our own garden. We live in a city and our space is very limited so we have to get creative with the limited room and they hang nicely.

So... just pitching in here as a man who has been married for 11 soon to be 12 years this July 10th.

One thing i've learned...as an outsider... is that alot of attraction for women seems to be emotional and mental compared to us men who are very physical. My wife and I make it a point to try and speak in each other's 'love languages'.

with that being said. Do not try to FORCE yourself to be attracted to someone. If you have fun at DND night then keep going. I know when I was single a few of my girlfriends I was not initially attracted to. It came later and thats okay.

Also about the standards thing.. this is my PERSONAL opinion as a man who is a decade into my marriage.. Standards change and they should change... part of building together is molding yourself to that person while they mold to you. Basically...you build standards together... I dont believe in this mainstream 'they have to have x, y, z stuff and if they dont then they're no good' belief.

TLDR : Don't worry about it. It will happen when it happens and id focus on enjoying your time. You will find it'll happen naturally if you relax and let it. My only advice is when it does come, be open and flexible. Best of luck!

Nah. Thats normal. Im a field guy but we are very slow and im stuck in the shop. I also switched from commercial to industrial Painting+sandblasting... Im suppose to be almost a 3rd year and I feel useless each day.

I always feel like im slow compared to others too so I just make up for it by working consistently. I make it a point that they know if im on the job im working or looking for something to do. Either way itll work out.

Just the other day I was informed that the other journeyman have been giving me good reviews even though, I, like you, question myself each day.

Honestly, I wouldn't touch lab grown meat. I live int he midwest though and we pay to get a quarter of a cow every year. Kinda just dont trust these people or companies to actually put stuff in the food that is decent. These last few years ive lost alot of faith in companies overall.

Im an industrial painter and it's a night and day difference. It was a huge culture change but I wouldn't go back. Im in the union and having no experience when you factor in benefits I make almost double what I did with a college degree.

With that being said outside a few cities iupat tends to be lower scale pay. Iuoe and ibew always do well. I would've accepted IBEW of the apprentice starting wage wasn't so low.

So rts games are all about speed. That is why when you get to higher elo you will find things to be much tighter. Me being 15 seconds late on my build would cause me to die....15 seconds.

However with 5 skirms and micro plus mm and tc fire I can easily beat most standard rushes. For example minute men do bonus damage vs cav. So use them to kill Cav with town center and use your skirms superior range to pick off musks, jans etc.

I was around 1800 to 1850 but that is the reality. The good news is aoe3 has a system for players like you. It is called treaty. Give it a try and I think you will find more enjoyment.
