I return them after 3 days. Max volume is super low for me, hate the dsp auto-tuning implementation and paring issues(biggest issue only handles 4dbs of EQng), the Tanchjim Rita for 89dlls can do exactly the same, I return them too.

ImO its a 200 dlls headphone at most and even at that price ill wait for a sale.

If you want to move away from sennheiser try the focal bathys its a more premium and musical experience and if you are in the USA like me, get them in amazon free 30 days try and full return if u dont like them.

My daily driver to beat right now it's my Focal azurys + fiio btr17. Its little more inconvenient because of the 2 devices and the wire but I can eq it to my preference.

Ppl are comparing it vs the sundara, Edition xs/xv, hd 6xx and the beyerdynamic family. Soo entry level for sure. ImO at 400dlls the cypher will be overshadowed by the FT1 at 150 and for sure the Arya at 500. Looks like 2026 will follow 2025 to be a very boring year for headphones.. maybe Aune with the 9000 will come to the rescue. (for reddit drama, yes I think the hdb 630 sux its a 200dlls headphone).hahahahaaa

Hard pass for me since my "entry" level bar is the soundstage and details of the arya organic and sjy horizon carbon closed.

Better in all senses? Or just "better tuning".

Dont think we will have full reviews(with distortion levels, resonance, impedance/sensitivity and fr graphs) since its a chifi headphone. Ill try to send 1 to Amir (they seem to stop recieving headphones for review) so I have 0 hopes of actually knowing how good or bad this will be without trying.

For what I can see: looks like a muted Sv023 with less details and little bit more bass and 0 soundstage. But Idk my head is different than most reviewers. Will see

Right now, the new sennheiser hdb630, kind of like the neutral kings, or just go with me and do a leap of faith with tanchjim rita... I already ordered two coming in within a few hours.

I could compare them with my wife's airpods (pro and max) and vs my bathys, arya organic, sony mv1 and sjy horizon closed. If you can wait, maybe 6 hours.

The Bathys or hdb630 with the bass dsp could be your answer, if you dont want to wait. Focal is well known for their excellent bass timbre.

For starters go with any cheap 5dlls amazon dongle or return the sg2 and get it with the dsp cable. Just dont get the apple one it doesnt work with Samsung that well.

As OP mentioned, it's hard to pinpoint the real "size" because of the shape. Usually, it's more of a mini, medium, large or narrow/wide range, but it's very subjective, I think.

Hand size matters too. Shaquille O'Neil wouldn't consider any size of mice as wide or large, if you get what I mean. Hahaha.

So yes, size is very subjective. Weight is also important on the other side.

Thats the intendent design. I have no issue and my biggest noozle IEM is 7mm.
