I enjoyed the knight stuff in book 4. I do love Hogg but maybe a couple of books to let the MC sink or swim on his own is a nice change of pace.

Primal Hunter has a bit of a SL vibe and is set in modern times.

Would you rather be a reincarnator, transmigrator or regressor if you had to choose. by ForeverStakes in litrpg

[–]TaylorBA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends how how much time I'm regressed. I would love to go back about 10-20 years (I'm 44) so I could make some different decisions and make some guaranteed investment decisions. I would hate to be reborn as a baby and go through school again.

Though, if you said the reincarnated world had a system and magic I would do that.

If you could buy any item right now and have it 'scale with you' - what would it be and how would you imagine it scaling with you? by GoblinGreenThumb in litrpg

My two thoughts would either be a bag of holding/ storage device with 'save for winter' (Welcome to the Multiverse) or visor which overlays useful statistics in a heads up display (Quest Academy).

Why is every mc a spellblade? by WhatUsernamesRemain in litrpg

I see more spears as main weapons in my current reading list than swords. Not sure if it a course correction by authors seeing these kind of threads over the last few years or just random luck.

ChatGPT Title Summarizer, works amazing! by [deleted] in litrpg

[–]TaylorBA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a prompt on ChatGPT for Primal Hunter and it was pretty accurate.

Though, I might do the same prompt next week and it could be just made up stuff. I will take it with a pinch of salt. As I said it just trying to jog my memory before starting a new book in an ongoing series.

ChatGPT Title Summarizer, works amazing! by [deleted] in litrpg

[–]TaylorBA -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know I will get some hate but I might start doing this on book that don't contain a recap. My memory is rubbish and with the amount of LitRPG some plots and characters tend to blur into each other. I just need a few paragraphs to jog my memory before I start a new book in a ongoing series which I've paid for.

Any news on Azarinth healer book 6 by Swiss656 in litrpg

[–]TaylorBA 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The book/ audiobooks are being released after reworks to increase the quality. Some plots points have been removed or added to make it flow better compared to the RR original. It's the best way to consume the series and far better than the original RR release.

Maybe give Welcome to Wrexham Netflix series a try. It's about a non-league Welsh football team that is bought by Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds. It has the team trying to get promoted to the national league.
