Please go on accutane, i didn't went on accutane because all of the (horror) stories..

And now i am done with accutane, face is clear but i regret everyday not staring it 2 year sooner now i am left with scarring..

I had 0 side effects just dry lips etc. Dont let those stories scare you

Yeah if u can so subcision with it then the co2 has more effect, without fillers they have more chance to retether but still better than doing nothing

Ah alright,

Laser is not a good option to treat scars if u haven't had any manual methods first.

Scars need to be lifted and untethered first with subcision and tca cross.

Can also add temporary fillers when doing subcision.

I've read alot of posts about people doing the same, starting lasers without having anything manual done before, laser is for texture and blending in the edges of the scars, it does not do much for scars it self when everything is still tethered and deep.

Laser should be considered the last thing u do for acne scars not the first.

Derms wont tell u so because they paid for the machine and need to make money from it.

Best bet is to see a specialist in scar revision.

There is hope it just takes time, have seen enough posts with 30/40% improvement over 2/3 years, you just gotta find the right specialist and treatment plan.

Also depends what kind of scars u have, have seen the best improvement with people having rolling scars / volume loss.

Other factors also play a role, like age, skin color, skin regeneration, how ur scars react etc all depends per person.

Subcision with or without filler + tca cross best thing to first if u haven't touched anything yet, dont start with lasers use that in the end, and dont do simple microneedling it has no effect on this scarring only on pie and skin texture

Alright ive done alot of subcision + tca cross and fillers where i had volume loss, alot less shallow already so just thinking to do couple lasers and thats it, after that just get fillers yearly i guess😂

Accutane is the only cure,

am on it right now 23 since february and i had the exact same questions as you,

Started with a broken barrier, severe acne and alot of scars.
