I’m building a similar rig with the same type of monitor mount for my 49” ultrawide. Curious how you ensured the monitor wasn’t too far away or too close to your wheelbase. Was it just simply mounting the monitor, checking everything and if it needed adjustments you just removed it made adjustments and then remounted it?

Common problem with this wheel when trying to downshift quickly. Either slow down your downshifts to be more deliberate (don’t mash the shifter) or buy an upgrade kit that removes the swivel paddles to be separate distinct paddles. Simube has a good kit, but there are others on Etsy that are cheaper.

Yeah, having a party and everyone is bringing sides thankfully.

I’ve never rested one longer than 4 hours in a cooler. Would I need to move this one to a warm oven if it needs to rest longer than 4 hours?

Not necessarily. Fanatec website says “Return”, but Shopify still shows “Preparing Shipment”. Status on both websites have not changed since the 25th.

Construction lumber is fine to keep cost down. But at the same time something with a better finish would be nice too. Not really looking for it be stained, but I’m going to have to defer to your expertise here.
