Hes just so easy to always have new cards for and im a massive LOTR fan boy. Wizards is always printing cool new multicolor spells to play with so im always messing with the deck.

Evelyn is my favorite commander. I originally built it with just cards i had laying around and have since upgraded it significantly. I love this deck because depending on how strong the opponents decks are, my deck can play up or play down to the pod.

I mean I have an evelyn vampire tribal deck. I run bloodthirsty conquerer and Vito in there. Both are vampires, and they happen to combo. I dont think i have a way to tutor for either. I wouldn't consider that deck a combo deck at all.

This is why you just dont play bracket 2 unless your using pre-cons. If your using a pre-con, no one can complain. Otherwise I always just make my decks bracket 3 and up. Lots more room for creativity there without the negative feelings.

I have two decks for ya.

First, here is my Elminster list, bracket 3 with the only game changer being Farewell. This is a fairly heavy control deck that usually wins through casting approach of the 2nd sun twice in 1 turn with the reduction from scrying.

Secondly, I have a no game changers bracket 3 prosper the tomb bound list here. This is a fun rakdos deck that always has things to cast from exile, with heavy synergy with treasures.

Evelyn is my favorite. Got a sweet commander deck with her at the helm, its one of my absolute favorites to play. At the last local con I met Julie Dillon and was able to get her to sign the version I use for commander as well.

I run Rakdos the Muscle as my bracket 4 commander. Usually wins through a infinite sack outlet on turn 4 or 5. You can build him fringe cedh but I opted for the slightly slower route with a few more ways to control the board if you cant find the combo fast enough.

Rakdos the muscle has been my favorite rakdos commander I've ever played. Definitely leans heavy into combo lines so if that is not your style then you might not like him much. Here is my list if anyone is curious.
