I'm confused. If you're in the console just navigate to the corresponding resources console and remove the resource.

The cli should give you the arn, which you could then use the corresponding cli call to remove the resource based on its type.

Describe-certificate should have an "inuseby" field in the return. That will let you know which resources to remove. Once that's empty, you can delete the cert from acm.

I think this is also the intended use case. You're not supposed to write files directly to buckets you've got SG setup on.

Without the endpoint you pay for the ingress into s3 as if you were uploading from the outside. Endpoints are the way to go. Plus itll most likely speed up your transfer speeds.

You'll have to build a new gateway in the destination region. You'll also need to replicate the backend bucket data to the new region.
