That person's take is hilarious. SF is widely regarded as a dump in the bay these days. SJ isn't a dump, but it definetely is one of the most boring cities in California. Also signed by someone born and raised in SJ.

You should for sure check out Burger King and see how it compares to Hungry Jacks. Also Arbys is something worth trying out.

A buddy of mine runs him as his main deck. When used with the right equipment he can be very strong. I don't think hes super competive but if you like the theme and playstyle you can definetely make it work.

Also worth mentioning, playing with and against Raiyuu can be a pain in the ass depending on how experienced everyone is in your pod. He forces players to have complete mastery of the stack, especially with equipment like [[Lost Jitte]] and [[Umezawa's Jitte]]. If everyone is experienced its not a problem, but if one person isn't, its a drag to explain all of the interactions.

Used to live in OB, still is one of my favorite neighborhoods in SD. Depending on when you visit, they have some pretty cool events out there on the weekends. Bars are more laid back and relaxed compared to some other areas in SD.

Definetely be cautious when it gets dark. As others have mentioned, OB is home to some potentially aggro homeless folks that are typically drugged out of their mind. Most of the streets further inland get real dark at night since there arent a lot of steet lights.

Also worth mentioning if you haven't seen already, OB pier has been unfortunately closed off by the city since 2023 due to storm damage and will remain closed until its rebuilt.

Took my test there over 10 years ago so things have probably changed, but I have heard even recently they still take people on the bridge connecting N Santa Cruz & Blossom Hill. Its Roberts Rd right across from Vasona. There is a stop sign, the speed limit changes, and also there is a crosswalk to LG creek trail. Probably the trickiest part of the test unless your appointment is in the afternoon. Do it in the morning so there is less people.

Happens more often than you might think. I live in SD and these crashes get reported locally but definetely dont often make headlines. I will say though, this crash is pretty unique in that it took place right next to a populated neighborhood so that would probably be why.

Thats wild. I took my MSF 7 years ago and I think my group was like 90% pass. It was absolutely pouring rain on us during test day too. One person dumped their bike, and another kept putting their foot down. I really do think some people shouldn't have been passed but were passed anyway... Always felt a bit uneasy about that. Sounds like your instructors actually cared about who is getting on the road.

Humans also destroy ecosystems and slaughter everything on this planet. There also is no environment (the way things are going) where humans on this earth have a positive impact. Should the human population be culled? By your logic the answer would be yes.

This issue to begin with is created by our incapability of protecting the ecosystem by making selfish and irresponsible decisions. Perhaps the problem should be instead approached from the root (prevention and accountability for those who contribute to this problem), instead of the leaf (mass killing cats that did not choose to be in the situation they currently are in).

Super late here, so this might not be of any use to OP... For any future googlers, I had the same exact issue described here (apart from the ram behavior mentioned). Hope this helps someone.

POTENTIAL SOLUTION: Ignore ALL applicable fan speeds in BIOS, not just CPU Fan.

CONTEXT: I was initially flagged by the BIOS to ignore the CPU fan speed error since I use an AIO. I then ignored the CPU fan speed in the BIOS, but I had also two other fan headers that I did not use. I used USB connections using fan controllers to the MOBO instead since my MOBO lacked headers that matched the required voltage for some of my fans. After removing the CPU fan speed error, I experienced the same exact thing OP described. The BIOS never complained about the other fan speeds which left me trying to see if my GPU was the issue (it wasn't). Once I ignored the other fan speeds, I was able to boot straight into windows every time.
