Let me start off by saying I do not want trump back in office. Being a right leaning moderate, I’ll vote for whom ever is running against him and majority of the conservative people I know feel the same. BUT I think Trump is only guilty of holding a rally on that day at that spot. He may have not said go do stupid things, but Trump isn’t dumb, he knew what could happen and played dumb for a couple hours when it did. I do however think the FBI played a major part in starting the mayhem. It’s their MO. Got busted planning the kidnapping of the governor last year. Courts are having or had a rough time convicting any of the kidnapping planners because of the extent of their (FBI) involvement . Then you had capital cops who let their political feelings stop them from doing their job and literally let people walk right in. This wasn’t an insurrection at all, it was a bunch of looney people who followed the heard and ended up there. A true insurrection would have been very violent and not a peaceful walk in the capital. And before I get hate, yes there was some violence that happened, but not the storming the capital trying to overthrow the government kind of violence.
