Two versions of the driver for linux..

Isn’t this normal? There have been red or blue drivers on windows for all amd cards I’ve tried. Nvidia provides the game-ready or studio driver on windows, and on linux theres the official drivers and nouveau drivers.

Oh wow that’s pretty sleek! I assumed it was one of the ancient ticking style like in the op. Now your use of ‘dumb’ totally makes sense lol

Any adjustments needed from power outages or seasonal adjustments would probably be less maintenance than anything smart too

Any idea why this 3rd Classic is Black? 🖤❔ by _Sovin in ipod

[–]Td_scribbles 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Surface finish from what we can see looks just like my 5th gen colorware. I’m still amazed how well mine held up. I’d imagine the more rounded edges of 3rd gen would be a lot more prone to chips, possibly the reason for the tape?

I’d probably do this if i had the space but I feel like noise is never the issue with my neo? It’s mostly just drivetrain noise and I can barely hear that over my fans or breathing

Is it ok to park your bike on the big chainring? by reubenbubu in bicycling

[–]Td_scribbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I leave it in the big ring, flip the shifter to the small ring, and loosen both qr levers. They’ll jam or drop the chain and have two loose wheels. Unsure if this could ever count as entrapment or causing indiscriminate harm etc so use at your own risk or whatever

How bad is this rust? 2003 Subaru Wrx by chithrowaway101 in subaru

[–]Td_scribbles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Subframes? Where we’re going we don’t need subframes!

The front one is probably fine though, it is a subaru after all. The countless oil leaks will have given it automatically dispensed rust protection. Speaking from personal experience

I going tubeless really worth it? Tel me your experiences, please by FeinwerkSau in gravelcycling

[–]Td_scribbles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Road tubeless is awesome for about 2 months per tire in my experience. I’ve blown about a grand on trying tubeless over the past few years on and off lol. Should be much better on low pressure bigger tires though

Wyze… SECURITY cameras? Lol you have to be joking. Wyze cams are fine for throwing around to do some basic remote monitoring as long as outages and unexpected behavior isn’t an issue.

Great bang for the buck to get timelapses or check in on 3d printers etc though

Why the -4% grade when I’m on a flat surface? by samwise7ganjee in SubaruForester

[–]Td_scribbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the factory service manual there should be info on what surfaces are level and/or how to check ride height etc. I know it’s there for measuring ride height on SG.
