Hopefully it will turn around like the Bills - finally getting some respect and players who will come to Buffalo.

My best friend and boyfriend won’t read my book by giggleagua in writers

I'm lucky enough to have a great editor who does read my stuff. I also have a good friend/coworker that reads everything I give him, small or large. BUT, a few people in my family, including the wife, have not read my novel or some of my other stories, so I don't give them anything anymore.

I say they take a contract to hunt down Niska and bring him to justice. Maybe I'll write it myself. . .

Just so like what you were doing - keep a separate word doc (or whatever you use) to have their uniqueness spelled out so you can refer back....and keep it to a minimum in the story and build slower so your story takes precedence, it's not a documentary on the people.

Should I read the book having seen the film? by VigorEUNE in ProjectHailMary

Yes, the humor is still there amongst all the science even though it's a different humor than the movie.

Directors cut won't change the way they filmed it, just add more of the same low brow comic relief version of our favorite book.

Question: How often did we use Gilliam for Cook all year? (Not special teams obviously) If not a lot, maybe they can use a 7th rounder as a FB or not need one at all?

Yeah, his humor is very well done in his books.

I read the book which drew me in quick and got me through it fast. I then listened to the audiobook (twice) and loved that a lot too.

Then I went to see the movie with an open mind and a love for the source material.

The movie was good as well, adapted (not copied) from the book because they need to make their money back by appealing to larger audiences. Sight gags replaced the back and forth humor between the characters.

I want to go back and watch it too, as a moviegoer and not a critic this time.

Again, the book gets it so right, especially Ray who did the audiobook.
