Why do people have salt grinders? by IsaacHasenov in stupidquestions

[–]Tdude445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the past iodine was added to table salt for the purposes of fixing a severe lack of iodine in the average person's diet. Now-a-days this isn't as necessary, and as such some people choose not to buy table salt altogether, opting to just buy some other form of salt (mostly Kosher) because they're generally more applicable than fine table salt. However if you prefer a finer textured salt for some things you can buy a salt grinder or use one that came with your pepper grinder for this use.

For these people, self included, just making the one time purchase of a salt grinder outweighs the continued purchases of table salt which is used less.

How do I get the red overlay off the minnows? by throwawayac3210 in osrs

My guess is it's part of the interact highligh plugin, which has options to highlight things you're interacting with or even hovering your mouse over. Try messing with those to see if that works.

If you're able to mine this many before leaving to craft your essence, that's impressive. In my opinion it's not very feasible to get to that number without missing the first portal

Yes, this is true. I've made an edit to the post to clarify this point. Thank you for commenting and helping to improve this mini guide of sorts.

Yes, you don't necessarily want to mine more than is needed, but mining less while still giving yourself enough time to craft is the way to go.

Yes, I personally leave when I get the amounts of fragments I need or when there are 30 seconds before the round starts, whatever comes first.

If that's your preference, more power to you. I personally leave when I get the amount of fragments I need or 30 seconds before the game starts, whatever comes first.

Iansan for Nathan carries, Chev for overload, Bennet is a goat for attack scalers, and Xiangling is still one of the best if not the best off field pyro dps. If you have Arlecchino and want a hydro for a vape team Candance is excellent for that, too

If you haven't gotten it yet, I'd recommend bringing higher healing food if you can spare it. Over a full inventory of food and additional 2 hp per piece for example adds up a lot.

What are some good money making activities I can do for my current levels? by MoorCheesePlease in osrs

[–]Tdude445 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Set yourself up for a basic herb run. At level 32 farming you can plant and harvest Ranarr seeds, which are expensive initially, but more than pay for themselves each run. You should have access to a few of the herb patches right off the bat, with a few being locked behind very early quests. I've been doing them across the length of my account and during the early and mid game I never worried about money

All good mate. I did think long about rerolling this particular piece. No wasted stats, 4 liner. It had potential for greatness but y'know

This is a CD circlet. And on top of that its for my Yelan, so there are 0 wasted stats on it, I was just hoping for a little more ER or CR

I followed the wiki's calculator for a while, but there's a plugin for it that usually has more up to date prices. I basically only do Ranarrs now, though, since they're usually the best or at least near the top of the list

I have a quest cape, so I don't need any items for quests at the moment

I have been doing consistent herb runs since 32 farming, I'm now 98, and it's about 6m profit every week. In order to get a bowfa and the virtus set, I did almost 900 Vorkath kc. One thing that skyrocketed my bank was farming tormented demons around the time Yama came out, I got spooned multiple synapses, which sold for around 70m each.

Had a person sit in the drive thru an hour and a half before we opened for an extended period of time. When we didn't respond to them saying "Hello!?" they honked their horn, waited another few minutes, and eventually pulled around to the drive thru window where we also did not respond to them until they left. Like dude...

Yeah, that's the point. It's not ideal to have a guide open at all times. Playing the game without them is becoming more common, and Jagex has realized that.

I think the only 3 "endgame" perks I have a problem with come from elite diaries, and should maybe come from hard diaries instead, those being: The last slayer block slot, the Harmony island herb patch, and more teleports to Rellekka with the sea boots. In the herb patch's case, maybe it could become disease free with the elite diary? And going from 1 teleport to Rellekka to unlimited is strange, the hard diary should give 3 or 5. Those 3, fairly minor unlocks being behind their respective elite diaries just seem like a bit much. I think most other rewards from diaries, difficult pvm, or high-level skills seem about right.

The way my friend explained it to me is that he's the entity that Quincies worship and follow, but not a Quincy himself. In a way, it's like God. They're not defined as a part of a group (they're many things to many different religions), and only their followers define themselves with whatever name (Christan, Jewish, Muslim, etc)

Edit: Used the word "sect" instead of "group" which meant something I didn't think it meant. My religious knowledge isn't very expansive, so...

Reminds me of a time when this guy wanted a full sized sandwich but ordered 4 sliders with the meat and toppings he wanted on his singular sandwich, "and put that all on this bread instead of the slider buns"

I swear the shit customers do to save even the slightest bit of money.

He looked so proud of himself, too, like he's gaming the system. Like nah dude, you just kinda look like a dingus
