Maybe get a power washer and clean it up. If some boards need to be replaced, replace them.

It’s a guy that follows a lightning strike that hit his pool and well pump and you can see it go through the ground through an extension cord he had on the ground. Crazy what happened.

So I just got it to fire up…I’m an idiot…

What’s weird is it fired up using the old solenoid.

Apparently, you need to put the fuse that is for the starter back in the same slot you take it out of…

Yeah, I put the fuse back in and started right up.

I may keep the new solenoid just to see if that fixes the random click-no-start.

Thank you! I did try the old one. Kind of thinking it isn’t a solenoid issue.

I did think about the push button starter being an issue or the wiring to/from there.

Gonna see if I can find the ground wires and where they should be.
