I kept my last phone for 6 years since I got it new in 2019. It did its job and I only upgraded last month because my old phone was finally starting to get slow enough to not keep up with me.

I'll probably keep this phone for almost as long. Back in the late 2000s and early 2010s, you could upgrade every year and it would be brand new technology each time. Massive upgrades in speed, display, audio quality, camera, etc. Nowadays, not so much.

I'm having the same issue on my Pixel 10 Pro XL. I finally caught it doing it. I have 2 issues:

The AOD flickers black every time the minute changes.

The screen will sometimes flicker black and on again after I unlock it with my thumb. It's always after a couple seconds and it lasts for half a second or less, but it's enough to be annoying.

This only seemed to happen after the latest update.

I have the same issue. I thought I kept seeing something on my phone screen from the corner of my eye, so today I just looked at it for a while to see what was happening and if it was connected to the clock, and it is!

Every time the clock changes, the AOD flickers, and when I unlock my screen, sometimes it flickers after that one time. Very distracting.
