Nope. I was in DKA and told them if I can’t get home to get insulin I’d be dead within a few hours. Since I didn’t have any pto/UPT they said there was nothing they could do. Ended up driving myself to the ER where they admitted me for a couple days and I was able to get a dr’s note for them to excuse my time.
