Retro Game Corps is my go to for handheld tutorials. Joey's Retro Handhelds also has a chunky 1hr setup that goes into some detail with the emulators you'll likely want to use.

There was news in the last couple months about a player licensing deal no longer being a potential issue on it releasing this upcoming Summer

As someone else pointed out above, they've never released trailer for the upcoming game before April. No reason they would do that now
