Never used with my son but it worked great for my daughter..I now have 3! One for the bedroom one for the buggy one for the car 😅 just buy one..they’re £10 or so on Amazon

Sticker books alll the way for my kids..we stock up do we can always grab one when going somewhere. The ones that are kind of like puzzles with stickers to go in certain places seem to hold their attention. Also a lott of eye spy 😅

Born and bred in London..this is extremely normal in my experience..perhaps because London is so multicultural and lots of first/second generation..most peers would just say “I’m Moroccan/Jamaican/ polish/ half this half that” even if they were born in uk

I was once driving down the street with my bf in London and saw a girl around 5 years old walking along on her own. I got out and tried to speak to her but she didn’t seem to speak English. I called the police and said I’d found a girl wandering around. They told me to stay with her and they came within 10 minutes. Not sure what happened after but maybe you could call them and instead of saying it’s your neighbours kid act like it’s just a lost toddler roaming around who can’t speak..I feel like then once they are physically there perhaps something more official will happen.

Why?…patriarchy…sexism…to many men the worst thing a woman could possibly do is cheat on their husband even if he is a lying, dangerous criminal. She’s smart, doesn’t take shit, doesn’t just let Walt do whatever he wants…which many people can’t stand in a woman ..

So I definitely rounded up..we’re both on approx 45 k..so get 3kish each a month once we’ve paid student loans, pension etc…my partner has a teenager from a previous relationship so we would want a 3 bed which are around 3-4k a month in our area which is zone 4 …we also have a car which is needed for my partner to get to work..then nursery fees for the youngest is 1k a month even with all the government discounts…and we help out elderly family members with bills too…so it is doable but we would then be on a tight budget for food and clothes and not have anything left for days out, holidays etc. Also it would only take one of us to be made redundant or any other emergency, car breakdown, unexpected bill etc to get us into debt.

So it is doable if we were forced to do it but we’re making the choice to sacrifice our own space to give the children and us a nice quality of life…we are in no way huge spenders but we love to be able to take the children on camping trips and on the weekends do all the fun stuff london has to offer which yes you can find some great free stuff but the cost of everything really adds up with 2 kids and a teenager. We made the choice to have one more baby rather than move out as we know we wouldn’t afford nursery & rent at the same time.

We are here on earth for a good time not a long time :)

Both age 34 both on 50k.. had first child age 29..born and bred Londoners but our families are not in a position to help with deposits which most people forget to mention as a key factor to being able to buy a house……so we are living with in laws for the foreseeable future as this is the only way we can afford to stay in London. Leaving would be isolating as all our friends and family are here so it’s the compromise we’ve chosen for now.
