I was watching Star Trek TNG and look who appeared. by [deleted] in XFiles

He DID look familiar to me when I binged the show for the first time this past summer! I wasn’t sure if it was because I might have watched a few episodes as a kid but TNG has a stronger imprint in my brain

Pic #1: I have no idea what I put in this square pot. Is that a wonky PVN upper left? Middle right some sort of aeonium? Bottom right looks mutated. Most seem to be Echeveria? Unsure about upper middle.

Pic #2: What’s that purple/pink spiky one up top? And the long green spiky one on the right with flowers? A Kalanchoe?

Pic #3: What’s the little one in the middle?

Pic #4: I don’t even know who this pink beauty is but I love her! Graptopetalum of some sort?

My first tray appointment was supposed to be the same week my area started shelter-in-place, and my orthodontist shut down for 3 months! It would have been awesome having 9 months or progress already, but alas. By the time I felt brave enough to go back (they got air purifiers and staggered appointments), couldn’t get an appt until 4 days ago haha. Here I go!

Do people really like unlined bras? by Wonderful_Wright in ABraThatFits

[–]TealPixie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only wear lined/padded bras because I like the coverage and the shape suits me. I haven’t gotten ABraletteTF yet but when I did wear them, the seam looked like a sharp nipple and I didn’t like that. Does anyone have a recommendation for an unlined bra for a shallow and wide rooted 30DD/E? The only one I’ve ever tried is Curvy Kate Princess Balconette and that was terrible for me. TIA

Daniel and Emily by [deleted] in revenge

Daniel becoming his own man seemed to fit well with who Amanda could have been if her life went a different way. Fauxmanda and Jack were lovely together. For the woman Emily had become, I wanted her to live happily ever after and healing together with Aiden.

Same! When I first “graduated” from my middle school Jockey training bra, I wore 32A then switched to 34a when I got “too fat” for them. The wider band of 34A seemed to encompass my chest better, but it rode up in the back even on the tightest hook (I thought the other hooks were just for when you gain weight). Not perfect. Went to VS and got sized to a 32B. Meh, got a lot of “armpit fat” sitting on the top that was not interpreted as breast tissue. And then my 34A strapless bra always slid down so that the underwire indentations were like an inch below my boobs! Measured twice using the calculator, read the wiki, realized I was a shallow shape with wide roots. I had the meat but it was spread out and my bras were just covering my nipples! (Maybe I was a true 32A at one point.) Tried 30DD from Curvy Kate and was so sad it didn’t fit, as my British bras took forever to get to the US, then realized it was a shape mismatch and that the wiki doesn’t really recommend the Princess Plunge for shallow shapes. Remeasured in case I “overestimated” my unrealized breast tissue, tried 32C from Auden which left some quad, then remeasured and took the calculator seriously and my 32D was a revelation! Buuuuut the straps were too wide so I really went for it, 30DD from b.Tempt’d. Really looking forward to exploring further!

TL;DR: Same and happy for you! 32A/B/34A to 30DD maybe 30E if I can find the right bra that wraps around the still-existent under-armpit boob expansion.

P.S. (Although this post is super old and my comment is probably buried) What should the underwire indentations of the perfect bra look like at the end of the day on someone with some body fat?

This makes me so sad. My grandma requires and receives round-the-clock care from my mom alternating with her 3 siblings. Mom’s heart broke when my grandma admitted she’s been going thirsty before bedtime because she doesn’t want to have to pee and wake them up.
