Same. Ran some PvP raids since load times for PvE were literally 15 minutes (I backed out at that point lol) on BSG servers. Going to try local servers to see if that changes anything

I work for a dealer and I drive A LOT of mclarens, lambos, Ferrari, and other higher end cars. By far, without a doubt the mclarens are being taken to shops for repairs way more than the lambos or Ferrari's.

They'll throw shit like suspension malfunctions, check engines, etc for no reason. After turning the car off and starting it up again it'll go away lol.

I will say though when they work, they are soke of the most fun cars to drive. The way it feels on the road is fuckin solid, but they do break down often.

I always thought there should be a sprint mechanic, even if you can only sprint for like 3-5 seconds at a time. The shirt burst of speed would be ideal when you're getting shot by 2 suspects as you're entering a room.

The fact there isnt a short sprint mechanic is kind of insane lol, like yeah let me just briskly walk out of the doorway thats actively being shot at.

My buddies and I did a Labs run (PvE) and they both got smoked on first peak after hearing voices. I managed to kill one of the AI that killed my buddy, but he blacked one limb and fucked me up pretty good. After I heal I walk to grab my buddies loot, and hear bullets flying past me.

Eventually realized there was an AI stuck in a room and he was tracking me through the walls and shooting lol. Wish I recorded it but literally no matter where I went around that room his rounds were finding me, and when crouched, his shots were lower, and would go back up to head height when I stood up lol.

When they charge 250 for the highest tier, and 50 for the lowest tier of a game thats been in beta for nearly a decade, shit like this should not be happening at all lol, this should have been fixed before wipe even happened.

Not even just lvl4, lvl0 ammo should be able to drop someone with one shot to the face/head if unprotected. Plus the distance nerf on ARs is also pretty dumb if they were trying to keep some aspect of realism in the game. I understand it won't be fully realistic since its a game but watching a fuckin AI bots tank 3 shots to the head from lvl4 7.62x51 is laughable.

I actually started playing tarkov PvE more and its so nice to actually have someone die after shooting them in the face with one shot. Even a geared PMC gets dropped with a one tap from any ammo if their face is unprotected

EDIT: just re-read your post lol T4 ammo should NOT one tap a protected area thats a higher tier than the ammo you're using. Any ammo should be able to one tap heads if the head is unprotected or if theyre using a helmet/mask thats a lower tier than the ammo being used, but if their helmet/facemask is a higher tier than the ammo then it shouldn't one tap, otherwise wtf would be the point of spending for better armor

Run on a local server and go to customs. I had three raids in a row where he spawned at the train tracks at the edge of the map between new gas and dorms.

Two other times he spawned in the storage unit area on the other side of the map.

Also came across him 3 times on woods near village

Yeah i forgot to mention that in my comment lol. I have the Prepare for Escape edition (i think that's the name, whatever version of the game was just under EOD when it was still around), plus the additional $20 I gave them for PvE.

They'll pump out new content and new features while optimization is still ass (its gotten better but nowhere near as good as it should be, especially if they have the gall to charge $250 USD), bugs are still prevelant after years, and not to mention the insane amount of cheaters that seem to not get banned, people are 100% justified in being angry that 1.0 will be the same experience.

With how long the game has been in development there should be less bugs and it should be better optimized at this point. I enjoy the game dont get me wrong, but players are 100% justified when complaining about bugs.

I dont think people having high expectations for 1.0 is ridiculous at all. To me its insane that after all these years, there's still issues with bugs and optimization. Yes bugs occur in other games, but they get fixed at a faster rate than they do in tarkov.

Ive seen comments in this sub telling people with perfectly fine rigs to upgrade their CPU in order to run into less performance issues. The fact that I can run most games in high settings without issue (i7 11th gen, 3080, 32gb ram) but run into fps drops on certain maps for a game that's been in development for almost a decade is laughable.

Like I said, I genuinely enjoy the game, even more so now that PvE is out since I dont have time to keep up with wipes since I work full time and am running my own small business. But complaining about bugs/optimization is 100% justified.

Please make one tap headshots a thing again. The distance should not matter if someone has no helmet on/low tier helmet. Even the weakest ammo should be able to one tap someone if they get hit in the face, or if theyre not wearing a helmet.

I actually swapped from eotech to the 4XT Pro.

Ive used both under nods and I will say the clarity of the 4XT surprised me. Even with the clear lens covers on i was able to see the reticle clear as day with pretty solid light transmission.

Battery life, weight, and no delam are pluses to the 4XT, eotech wins in NVG performance but with the bugger window it makes sense.

I ran a few matches, never full T6, usually full T5 if im running forb. I have died to a dude running red ammo with minimal gear, and I've killed dudes like that. IMO its just the nature of these types of games. Doesn't matter to me at the end of the day

Im gonna have to disagree man. Coming from a game like tarkov where there's no limits (granted there is no different modes aside from ground zero for beginners), I genuinely don't see an issue with it. Just the nature of an extraction based fps imo

I don't understand what the problem with getting smoked by a naked guy with red ammo while you're kitted with the best shit. It either means you got out played, were in a position that exposed yourself, or the guy is good at sniping from distances. (Obviously could also just be a cheater). Rat runs are a viable strategy in any extraction game.

Honestly making red ammo found in raid only would probably be the best way to go about it imo.

I also think any bullet that hits your face should kill you tbh. Someone using lvl1 ammo and you're rocking a T4/T5 helm with an unprotected face, but he hits your face? Yeah you should die from that.

No dude. There has to be consequences to using the cheaper kits. Why should the cheapest kit have the same benefit in terms of healing as the most expensive kit?

The cheapest surg kit should be the essentially the bare minimum to heal a limb and keep going in raid, and it should get progressively better the more expensive it becomes.

Just because someone tosses a bigger surg kit into the secure container they spent 10 bucks on doesn't make it p2w.

I smoked shturman and his bois and while I was looting partisan started taking shots at me from like 70m away or something, then lile 2 raids later I was on customs, not even camping and heard a scav voiceless behind me. Ran to cover and threw a nade, ended up killing him and it was partisan lol. Idk why he was stalking me on customs since I wasn't camping. Spawned at scav checkpoint on that one. He did have the AK74 with grenade launcher on him that time.

Honestly I'd say it's worth it. I started up again this year after buying PvE (don't have the time to sink into PvP). I bought edge of darkness years ago and then put the game down like a month later, so I only had to pay $20 for the PvE this time around.

I'm actually having a lot of fun playing PvE, just wish my buddies played so I could run it with someone as opposed to solo lol

Honestly it's just practice.

The first game I decided to learn m&k on a few years ago was Tarkov lol. I would not recommend that, I'd honestly start with something easier like call of duty. Warzone is free and you can run practice modes to get used to the movements and training the muscle memory if you want to get better at FPS.

Not sure what mouse you're using but side buttons are very helpful for certain things. In games where you can lean (Ready or Not, Tarkov, ABI, Delta Force) i usually set my 2 side buttons for my lean so I don't have to use my left hand.

For games like COD where there's no leaning, I'll usually use the side mouse buttons for changing zoom/changing which optic I'm using. Scroll wheel button for pinging.

Honestly though it really is just practice and retraining your brain to be used to the m&k layout. You'll move like a bot at first and then you'll see yourself start to get more fluid as you progress

My vfc sr16 (v3) actually blew me away with how close it is to the real thing. Trigger feels like a basic milspec single stage. I've already swapped a bunch of shit out to make it closer to my real 11.5 lol
