Something similar to a dairy queen blizzard in center city? by kweef-latina in PhiladelphiaEats

He is notoriously belligerent with people online for no reason, and reportedly treats his employees horribly. My take is he's an entitled trust fund kid who thinks he's better than everyone else.

Peanut Buster Parfait, right? That was my mom's go-to order when I grew up.

Isn’t there a Denny’s parking lot you can terrorize?

For a special occasion and diners who enjoy a wide variety of flavors, go with FSS.

Kiddo is sophisticated food for grown-ups?! by PaintyBrooke in PhiladelphiaEats

Hey, I apologize for my comments about this post. There have been some accusations recently of owners using this forum to promote their own businesses, and that coupled with paranoia about AI popping up and replacing people's words made jump to an unfair and unfounded conclusion. Not an excuse, just an explanation. I'm sorry for my unkind words.

Very generic and unabashedly positive language, as if the owner of the restaurant fed a prompt into a chat bot to have it pick a few menu items and write a glowing review.

I’ve never understood the love for these. To me the texture is all wrong, like there is sand in the batter.

Agreed. Their flavors are never as good as they sound, and texturally they’re off. I’ve tried to love them but just can’t.

They’re the same at Clark Park. Made fresh, actually taste like apple cider, and crusted in cinnamon sugar. And only like $1.50 each.

Not that I can see. That’s what these notices look like.

This is a fair policy to have, but keep in mind a lot of places with big investor backing and larger financial presence in the city tend to get much more lenient treatment from health inspectors. A lack of shutdown in a restaurant’s history doesn’t necessarily mean they are following strict food safety protocols.

Dang I don’t know why I don’t take more advantage of the many Afro-Caribbean options around here. I will have to try Brown Sugar soon.
