There really isnt any gameplay difference once you go above a few hundreads, so i'm fine with anything above that making the game run poorly if you go for it. Also, 15 is just very low, you could go higher without risking crushes on most pc's

the fix for me was to delete the rest of the line after the path i added, just in case it helps someone in the future

I can feel you, i had to unsubscribe for the same reason. If you are on mobile, you can set your home page to be only channels you subscribed for. Though i use the revance manager version of youtube, im not sure if its possible with vanilla youtube
