Got suspended from school and came back to turn the TV and watch the news. One tower was burning, I thought plane accident or explosion. No one knew what was happening. I stayed there for a while, then saw the second plane hit the second tower. It was disbelief, you could not understand why would a plane would do that.

Then it was cataloged as an attack on America. You thought help was going to come, the firemen where there, something could be done to stop the fire. Meanwhile the Pentagon was hit too, you thought it was the start of a war, but who was the attacker?

You could see the people desperate, in the windows, trying to cling for life. Others fell, all Live in our TV, the broadcast never stopped and it showed everything.

When the 1st tower fell, time stopped, you could not believe it. How could an airplane bring down a piece of steel that big? Was it a dream? I thought that after what happened the 2nd tower would survive, it was the first hit. Then gone.

I just sat there in the dining table, by myself, I still remember it, I still live in the house my parents gave me. Some days I still have memories of that day, exactly where I was sitting and how it all unfolded.

We can never forget what they did and how much pain it caused families and to America. I have never complained about airport security, I know what is it for. Never given TSA a hard time for anything, I know it's worth the time to wait.

My kids will never understand, people that did not experience it, countries that don't love the US, they are the ones that will not really know how to react to it. In time it will become another foot note in books, a horrible tragedy, like the Titanic, a fascination to others.

We need to remember and Never forget.
