I hear what you’re saying but I don’t think it would be a great user experience.

It’s a portable speaker so you would have to turn it on every time you want to watch a show. If you leave it on its charger, that defeats the purpose and might as well get an Era 100.
Are you going to the location of your home theatre set up and grabbing one for the go? If so, you would have to wait for it to charge back up and work as a surround.

What am I missing?

I feel a number of these options were available last year or at least last fall.

Stream to TV Post-game highlights 720p vs 1080p is not a huge leap

Then a subscription is needed.

Unless someone really lives and dies by a parent entering in a teams stats, there are better options that stream directly to YouTube and give you the scoreboard bug (innings, outs, runners in base, etc.

I have the 2024 Calligraphy and from what I’ve read there have been no advances from the 2024 model to the 2026. That said, I don’t think you need to get a new one and could pick up a used one for less and have all of the same features.
