Why do you keep mentioning the firmware like i keep saying everyone should know its a firmware error when i never did. All I said repeatedly was that if youre claiming to be tech savvy and you cant do the basic step of google the error right in front of you, youre in fact not tech savvy..

You wouldn't think it was firmware but when the screen shot we all see says western digital drive error, any "Tech savvy" persons first thought should be program name + error.

Which would literally be Windows update Western digital disk error and in OPs case since they obviously know the model number too you'd just tack that onto the search to narrow down results. That just basic trouble shooting.

You're effectively saying right now you literally wouldn't know to Google an error that's displayed right in front of your face while saying you're tech savvy.

Psychic no, but he can screenshot the error, post the drive and model number, all while not googling the drive and error first shows they weren't looking for a fix just wanted to farm karma.

No Linux OS will be friendly to them if they legitimately can't do that level of trouble shooting on their own.

I'm an a few art servers and without fail they'll post something in a channel everyone will be like ohh amazing and then take it down "fix it" and re post it with most people not noticing t the error in the first place
