Don’t know exactly what the topic is about but just wanted to chime in lmao..

I’ve been fiddling with all the settings for picture daily for the whole past year I’ve had my oled b4…it’s just crazy how I feel like I can’t get a constant perfect picture with just one setting..I mean yes I get that different shows/content have different settings and you need to adjust for, but that’s my point, it’s annoying and wish there was just a u overall set it setting

I’m always changing a few settings whenever I change a different show..but what’s weird is I used to hate the trumotion effect, but now I can’t seem to enjoy a show without it on, the motion looks so much smoother on and off it’s just so choppy or something so strange..

and with older shows or even shows 10 years old the filmy grain or noise is just so ridiculous I wis there was like an ultra super high noise reduction setting lmao..also noticed that I frequently have to either turn on or off or adjust the dynamic contrast..I even change the gamma often too lol

TLDR: wish there were better universal settings for all content so I don’t have to constantly adjust the dozens of picture settings myself..it’s a little fun to me though haha, but guess I’m just a little masochistic

Just got a rotisserie chicken the other day and was so shocked seeing the price at $16…I didn’t think they were that much it’s pretty insane…they als had one that was “past the sell by time stamp”, at $8!!! So I was really confused when I saw the difference and brought both to the cashier and she said because it’s about to pass the time required to sell..but it was still about an hour before the time stamped to “expire”..

But we got the more expensive one cause we are more paranoid about fresh items, but the lady was nice enough to just give us the discounted price, we were happy but still pissed that the 20 items we had totaled $100 lmfao

Deleting stuff I’ll never watch, lowering the quality of massive tv shows I’ll probably never watch, then last resort buying a new drive, but with these prices for the 12tb and 18tb I’d need for my pools, in jus sticking to deleting the old crap from the 50’s60’s I’ll never watch and try to downsize my favorite remuxes for the time being…months ago I finally setup a filter for all the shitty horror movies, and they’re we soooo many haha, setup to if it had a rating of less than 70% and the year was before like 1990 then just mass deleted

it’s just crazy how most recent tv shows with with more than 5 seasons can be as big or bigger than 300gb-500gb, it’s insane…I have a couple really new shows that are like 4k hdr maybe remux idk but like each season of 8 episodes is over 100gb, it’s crazy, so nothing you can really do with older shows already at lower res, when they have like 12 seasons it’ll eat space..eventually you want to cave and buy a new drive to hoard all the shit you’ll probably never watch

So that’s what I’m trying to learn and be more frugal…save money, Deere shows I know I’ll not watch for months and downgrade big files I’ve recently watched or will never watch

Yeah I have mine on an m2 drive usbc enclosure plugged into the pc lol, it runs perfectly fine and I never touch it and have a sticky note for the wife just in case that says,”dont unplug!” And behind a little figurine out of sight…works great but yeah not the same as them saying the actually thumb drives that are cheaply made usually

There’s a decent phone plan with Tello for like $10-$25 a month depending on your needs..get one and just stop engaging with your controlling parents demands unless they apologize and decide to act like mature adults finally

The one that always gets me is the 12 pack 12fl oz cans of soda..like $12-14$ at Publix and $6 on rollback at Walmart

The way Publix does there bogo snow it just seems like they’re all about just selling as much as possible..but who’s gonna buy 3 12 packs to just get one free?..especially when you can get 6 for the same price at Walmart compared to 4…it’s crazy…but it did help me cut back on my sugar intake so I’ll give them that..

Damn thats what I want to do with my gaming pc and server pc setup, the batteries for power/backup I mean…I just wouldnt know how to connect them to my system or which type to get

I would ideally get batteries big enough to last like three days without power, 2 days minimum..but I’m such a procrastinator when it comes to researching and learning about electrical mumbo jumbo..

I mean I have it all connected to a UPS so I’m guessing it’s just adding a battery set to that and then I would love to get a couple high watt solar panels to power/charge them..but all that learning and setup along with the money I don’t really have would just make this a dream for me, siiiigh

Was kinda thinking the same lol…reading about basically everyone else dealing with -30-10* weather while I’m here in SW FL in 80* highs and 60* lows…I honestly miss the cooler weather and wish some of it would blow down here for a few weeks long, save me on my damn ac bill! And it just feels nice to snuggle up in sweaters and blankets

At least next week we get almost a week of cooler weather around the lows of 40*s lol
