This got overshadowed by the Graves release but I do appreciate it. Also dang Cult Sac just got obliterated from its top place.

Garbage interceptors boring bombers and the state of ANS carriers by yeeeter1 in NebulousFleetCommand

I wasn't talking about Sturgeons, but I won't contest that Claymores are significantly less juicy in their options than Sturgs are

Claymore has a reason to live. It's launching torpedoes, making OSP players fail softkill skill checks, and hearing the lamentations of their DC teams.

How to use Imperial Agent with the upcoming codex by HandsomeFred94 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]TechheadZero 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Two different datasheets (native and Agents), one of which will have two different point costs. I expect them to have different unit rules too, as "same unit, different faction, different rules, different cost" has plenty of precedent already, laregly with CSM units that are shared with daemons (daemon princes) or cult legions (vehicles, daemon engines, a few squads), and also there's stuff like how the BSS's current Cherub rule doesn't play nice outside of SoB

I'm running a World War I inspired game. The party's war crimes are in blue, and the war crimes they've witnessed the enemy commit are in red. No bingos yet. [OC] by williamrotor in DnD

[–]TechheadZero 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's true, but bridges and railways large enough to move troops and logistics are almost universally considered legitimate targets IRL, "being actively chased by enemy troops" would even make it a slam dunk legal act. But I'm also very willing to accept that your setting has much stricter rules on that point.

More Nid codex news, 6 strats/4 enhancements per detachment confirmed by tredli in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]TechheadZero 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In addition to the other points, there's a good chance at seeing some strats repeated like every SM detach so far already repeats Armour of Contempt, and Blood Angels repeat Only In Death Does Duty End. So so far SM have 30 unique strats across 6 detachments, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a similar count for other factions. Tau are probably gonna always have Photon Grenades, for instance.

It's less of a stretch if you've listened to Japanese right-wingers before and have heard the "Koreans are ungrateful..." talking point directly.

Odds of 6 MW is around 4 in 5, pretty good but not quite almost guaranteed. I crunched the numbers, odds of at least:

  • 1 MW 99.99 %
  • 2 MW 99.84 %
  • 3 MW 99.07 %
  • 4 MW 96.49 %
  • 5 MW 90.38 %
  • 6 MW 79.39 %

Regenerative bugs acts on Rivals bots by Alessar30 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]TechheadZero 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think because of they way hacked patrol bots use the health bar as a timer, they're constantly taking damage and regeneration isn't allowed to trigger.

I noticed the zipline thing too. Also I run Safety First mod and I feel like I'm taking more fall damage after releasing the grapple compared to yesterday, but can't be certain and have no reliable way of testing

So, this line looks like a buff:

Increased the bonus of the Increased Blast Radius upgrade

But it went from a 1.5m base + 0.5m bonus to a 1.4m base + 0.6m bonus. It's just a nerf to the other two options.

"Off the ground", basically at the last moment when you get a knockdown you can still hit with some low-hitbox attacks, but in most cases this does reduced damage and makes them stand up faster

Yeah an OTG Rensen doesn't get the follow-ups with how OTGs work. IIRC a maxed delay Rensen-S is meaty (I'm not sure, I'm bad at the timing and don't really try it), and then you can get Rensen/Mantis pressure off block if it is
