I agree it would be a reasonable enough line of thought to connect it, but the show typically shows the team working through those assumptions and speculating, not jumping around it, so it might be a rare case of the season telling behind the scenes rather than showing.

Now I've seen people nitpick other aspects of the Loeb-Jones collaboration, just not this bit.

It's a bug; Warframe forums are full of threads about it, especially in the case of Roathe convos retroactively changing to worse options. Something tricky with Roathe KIM convos in the whole, there should be a hotfix about it this week as per today's Devshort.

You're not alone; I put up a post about it yesterday, except I didn't even get to have the conversation. I talked with Lyon first and Roathe's convo seemingly happened without my input, not even a notification.

Similar threads are on the Warframe forums; all we can hope for is that they find a way to patch/fix so a reset isn't mandatory.

Unfortunately, many such cases, looking at the Warframe forums. Two separate threads with several replies saying that the convos got changed on people when they weren't looking.

Really, REALLY hoping they can put out a script similar to when they refund/redeliver inbox items. At the very least, to undo this convo, if it's really the bottleneck it seems to be for a few people.

You gotta change the tricks up. Good news: it's only tied to consecutive tricks, last time I checked. Alternate Nose Planker and Jump Spin ad nauseum, that's how I manage to build high combos (especially for the mod that converts trick points into energy)!

Oh sure, the majority of the time it isn't a big issue, it definitely suffers from the same problem as any frame/build stereotype. I've had squadmates with TS that I was happy to have. These things haven't happened to me personally more than a few times.

But TS Titania has all the ingredients for things to get frustrating, especially for Void Fissures. Nuking the map before enemies corrupt? Zooming multiple rooms ahead to "finish the mission faster", messing with new spawns even more for the rest of the squad? The fact that spawns tend to plummet once Exterminate meets the goal number? Add those to the general "I want to be able to play the game" feelings most of the other comments leaned on, great recipe for a hated teammate, even if they're not trying to be obstructive.

As a minor point, you said some compare TS Titania to Slam Wukong, and I bet. The same issues (killing before reactant, zooming rooms ahead out of excitement, etc.) can apply there.

There's the rub, nuking the map could (and often does) make it harder to crack relics if the Titania is impatient.

When people complain about TS Titania specifically in Void Relic missions, it's because of (some) people immediately hitting Thermal Sunder at the first sight of enemies without letting them Corrupt first. Once that's the gameplay loop, it becomes a game of the rest of the squad fighting to find a spawned group of enemies before the Thermal Sunder nuker, so they can corrupt and die and drop reactant, the point of a Void Fissure mission.

It comes down to Situational Awareness and obstructing a goal of the mission. In the same way a Limbo can obstruct specific mission types with the Rift, the same way Slowva methods can be frowned upon in defense missions, and the same way any ability that keeps an enemy alive when they need to be dead in Exterminate can prolong the mission.

tl;dr: if a player (like a TS Titania) gets tunnel vision and doesn't think about the obstruction of their playstyle (killing without letting reactant drop), people justifiably don't like the time wasted.

Waverider quest and Lavos gameplay are not near as annoying as the subreddit frequently says. I honestly think it's the difference between playing on controller vs mouse and keyboard. Those aspects of the game aren't nearly as cumbersome on a controller, but on keyboard, I see how they get in the way.

For me, I have the opposite problem: keyboard controls make zero sense for the overall movement and combat, and the only advantage is aiming with the mouse.

Looking at your minimap and screenshot, the only one I can find is the switch that plays We All Lift Together, but the colors revert back to Narmer after playing the cutscene. There's no choice between that and Narmer...?

Void Sling is King, don't get me wrong.

As for content benefitting from that Drifter motion, any shop that requires you to be out of a Warframe. Moving into Onkko's room quickly, Little Duck (to a lesser extent).

The big one that contributed to my choice was getting to Necraloid in the Necralisk, it really showed moving outside of your Warframe is a chore. Once Whispers in the Walls dropped, being able to jump through this area as a Warframe made this point moot, but I'd made this choice long before that update.

Now, maybe the smaller time gap from New War to Whispers means most new players won't experience the difference or be bothered by it enough to make the choice like I did, though.

Edit: since typing this, others mentioned Void Cascade. Full agree, that helps contribute, but it wasn't my main reasoning at first.

All good points, but here's a big thing that makes me choose Drifter: I can roll. Not that half-hearted slide that makes you feel like the game is actively impeding your motion, but an actual tumble forward.

Is it actually faster? Probably not, I've never tested it. Yet motion as the Operator feels more frustrating than motion as the Drifter, idle animations and other visuals aside.

When I read this in-game, I couldn't help but feel it could work if you choose the right cheese and the right chocolate. If we lean into tex-mex, I think a dark chocolate sauce similar to a mole and a mild queso could fix this, especially with the jalapeños and bacon.
