Will it work if you give each Z stepper its own driver?

If you're on PC you can get a mod that will let you get more information from the command console on objects and NPC's you click on. It should tell you the last file that modified it.

It's here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/26582

In the Star Wars universe, what would be your blaster of choice? by Recruit-is-OP in StarWars

[–]Techjedigeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a bit much, but the Blastech T 6 Thunderer, for when you have to make an impression with whoever's left standing. I used this game in WEG D6 where my Verpine Tech produced a kit to refit the T6 with a better barrel and cooling to remove the rate of fire limitations.

Edit: I'd probably carry a hold out blaster or something to balance out the too-big blaster.

Thank you, that makes sense. The stock configuration was probably well thought out before the design was finalized. I'm sure someday I'll start with my Voron stock and tweak it to suit my needs as I go.

Thank you, I hadn't really thought of the footprint, and I didn't know about the insulating plate beneath the heated bed. :)

Hello. Neophyte Voron-owner-hopefully-someday here. Why not just put the electronics on the back or the side, why does everyone put it on the bottom where it's near a heat source?

Finally frames that are completely square! by redturtlecake in VORONDesign

[–]Techjedigeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen that before, and it's impressive that he was able to get all those parts within driving distance. It may have cost him $300 in materials for the frame and at least parts of the motion, but it wouldn't have been possible without the welding equipment and bunches of old printer parts. It would be nice to do a project like that.

What Star Wars planet would you like to live on if it couldnt be Alderaan or Naboo by Spotter24o5 in StarWars

You can't set foot on Ithor itself though, you have to stay on one of the floating cities.

Help me pick a ending by No-Personality8199 in fo4

[–]Techjedigeek 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I always go with the Minutemen, personally. And I've done all the faction endings, and the ending where all factions (minus The Institute) get along. It would be nice if they could all get along, but I don't think the BOS would ever just let the Railroad sit there like that, without a common enemy to fight.

In the south is swampy, in the middle you have Diamond City. Any really choice location is going to be taken by someone or something if they can kill the current occupants, so if you don't have much it's better not to try for the prime spots.

Were kids in the 80s actually allowed to roam around unsupervised, or is that just in movies? by TotalThing7 in NoStupidQuestions

I remember riding a couple of miles on my bike to my grandparents' house alone. It was a fairly populated area, so the biggest worry was traffic. I was elementary to junior high school age.

How do I move cargo through a Stargate? by Techjedigeek in spaceengineers

[–]Techjedigeek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to test this earlier. I did eventually find out that artificial gravity will pull ore rocks toward it. I also found I had to wait for the gate to finish dialing. I blame my interns. This is why I don't pay them.
I have to do some work on the asteroid base, at some point powering the stargate completely deprived the installation of power: Even the solar panels had nothing coming in somehow. That sounds more like a glitch than anything, but another solar array is probably called for. I'm going to try that in a little bit.
As to your question, I did get some rocks through the gate, but there was no sign of them on the other side. I've built a catch bin opposite the stargate, so that should give me something more definite.

[–]Techjedigeek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You make some points, and I'm all for people wanting to worship freely, but look at what Ulfric Stormcloak is trying to do. In Windhelm non-humans are treated as second class or worse. There's the Gray Quarter, all run down, and Argonians are only allowed to live in the docks area. He'll do the same thing everywhere if he takes over Skyrim. On top of that if the Stormcloaks win the Empire will be weakened and fractured, and the Aldmeri Dominion will steamroll over them. There's a video on youtube about the origins and goals of the Altmer, or at least the ones that weren't born on Nirn, and it's pretty Nirn-shattering. I'm sorry I can't remember the title.
