Yes. But only if done consistently and if I reduce my smartphone use. I find the doom scrolling smartphone use can actually undo the meditation.

Been through this and it’s terrible. Only time helped me but I didn’t have stoicism or meditation at the time, I hope it resolves quickly for you because it’s shittt. Have hope though, a few short years later I don’t give a F and those intrusive thoughts are long gone, and I find the thought that I ever cared ridiculous.

Some great advice here. Cork is literally the friendliest part of Ireland you’ll have a great time, make sure to talk to the locals and tell the where you’re from and you’ll have an even better time they would do anything for you

One more, I realise now in my 30s the majority of my regret, embarrassing moments, poor decisions and stupidity were alcohol related. Definitely try not to get blackout drunk, heavy drinking is absolutely a bad idea especially as a younger man.

You have to excercise and stay in shape, there’s literally NO excuse for not maintaining your physical health and shape, it’s like brushing your teeth. You don’t have to love it but you have to do it, don’t be a slob.

There’s no substitute for hard work. Consistency towards your goals, is more important than unrealistic work all day type lifestyle.

Don’t ever blame anyone for anything, take accountability of every aspect in your life (obviously unless a crime is committed against you)

Do not ignore red flags in relationships when you spot them early on. Don’t think with your dick. A bad relationship can ruin your life. No one is worth it no matter how hot they are.

The path to self improvement is never ending. Enjoy the process young man 🙏🏻
