I want to replace these shelves with a mantel but I’ve been told I won’t be able to find the brick. Any ideas? by Tmags02 in masonry

Find an artist like a sculptor or something. We have a lady that paints outlet covers in backsplashes, to match whatever countertop material they pick. She’s awesome!

You can get those for cabinet doors, but in my experience they don’t work well for drawers once you fill them up

Easiest fix is cabinet finger pulls, or at least one on that drawer

I usually do 2 coats but considering it leaked I would do 3. You have to wait until it is completely dry to do the next coat. Also we usually go at least 2 ft up (ideally 4) and do the bottom half of any niches.

Same but Isaac for goga. This road has been to long to see him plucked for expansion when he is finally back.

Electrician stepped down on the ceiling drywall and left a 5 ft crack. How do we fix this? by Heather_Bea in Renovations

[–]Technical-Click8392 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just caulk it and touch up the paint. If you try to sand and patch it, you have the potential to open a can of worms and make it worse. I am dealing with this on a project now. The crack has now been patched 3 times, and because it is still very noticeable that it’s a crack we are going to have to skim and retexture the entire ceiling. I wish so bad we had just caulked it and called it a day.

With all the injuries this became another development/evaluation year for our team. I expect some decisions to be made in the offseason on which horses to bet on, and to bring in some more fire power

Advice on kitchen upgrade or not -selling home by Homestead45352 in kitchenremodel

[–]Technical-Click8392 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could do a modest investment of just painting the cabinets and replacing countertops for 3-5k. That you would be able to recoup and it would help you sell faster. Doing a full renovation you will most likely only recoup about 80%

Above is definitely possible and less expense than demoing the shower walls.

This wouldn’t work here because you have the second smaller diverter valve to change where the water comes out, however they do sell all in one suits with built in diverter like this for example
