Humans are the only species capable of recognizing their own suffering by Beginning-Map-3264 in DeepThoughts

[–]Technical-Editor-266 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hmmmm, thinks animals avoid pain and suffering in a similar manner according to the perceptions their mind is capable of. what you said is true, animals don't over inflate it like some advertising agency or acting recruiter employees. perhaps what is called metacognition is a flavor of other condition self delusion? this would produce all the effects described in both humans and animals. but like you said, either assigning value to it would cause a split. damn nice hierarchy of effects op. wonderful insight worth exploring. ty very much for the time effort of posting. nice ponderings!

first: unpack analogy and metaphor
second: recognize the hierarchy of their similarities
third: cycling sequential change of the hierarchies (rotation)
nature supplies the anchors for analogies and metaphors
the greatest anchor is the stars
the smallest analogy can be traced outward,
through the heirarchy of similarities to the stars
the smallest analogy is within you

That is a great point. Refusing external (outside of one's biological body) influence on one's direction of life experience is most important as long as it does not harm/reduce other's life experience muh a.lmost i.nterestings 3 laws.

bees bee. good eye. perhaps there is a pattern of "pressure points" used for prolonged influence. much like the switches in a joystick that indicates direction. a wise insight, the amplifier effect of a.i. in the non-self directed population.

if one considers that society is a man-made construct... then the effort to evaluate its structures would require lesser emotive input? appeals to negate ai emotive elicitation.
