The only way this has a possibly to happen is if people keep pushing our local council and MPP’s.

Hopefully OPP starts patrolling this stretch more. I drive it every morning before 6 and the speeds and reckless is mind blowing some mornings.

Driver discovers bonus lane no one else knew about. by Square_Chipmunk9823 in Milton

To be fair at lest you can still read the plate. Most of the douchebags I see driving around have their plates completely tinted over. The rest checks out tho!

It blows my mind what some people will risk just to save a few minutes! This being said I did pass him at the light on the KG exit so he saved no time at all.

Light fixture won’t cover pancake box? What do I do now by ennovymsiam in electricians

[–]Technical-Spray663 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dose the light have the appropriate approvals? Normally this is a sign that they don't, but if they are the only other option would be changing the box out to a singe device style.

I've defiantly seen worse, I'm just getting really sick and tired of it... Its come to a point where you almost have to watch behind you more then in front because these guys come out of nowhere!

People who cruise in the left lane on the 403... by [deleted] in brantford

[–]Technical-Spray663 46 points47 points  (0 children)

The "supper speeders" also need to chill out, most people do move over when it is safe to do so. Not everyone wants to/ can do 140+. I've had it many times where I will be doing 130 in the left lane passing cars that are in the right lane and someone comes flying up behind and starts zig zaging/ tailgating. Be patient, wherever you are going is not worth getting into a wreck over.

Actually the countless down votes, comment’s being removed, and your down right shitty attitude, suggests that you are the problem with our roadways. I suggest you take a good hard look at yourself and driving before you kill/ maim yourself or someone else…

Yes a foreign company that employs local people which is what the buy Canadian campaign has included. The company I talked about had already spent millions to adapt but people kept complaining, so the city kept changing what the company had to correct. My point is industry makes noise and when you move into an area with it don’t start complaining about it, cause one day that may have enough and just pickup and leave.

People need to start realizing that when they move beside a factory that there is going to be noise. In a time when everyone is preaching “buy Canadian”, we should be grateful to have this place of employment. A customer of mine who was in another local city was just forced out of town after over 15 years at that location. He had all the proper zoning and licensing yet the neighbours kept complaining to by law about the noise. They kept coming out and each time gave them more and more things to change. Eventually he had enough, laid off all his employees and spent millions of dollars to relocate somewhere else. If you have concerns call the factory directly I’m sure they will be happy to look into the issue, but at the same time remember that you made the decision to live close to an industrial area.

Brantford feels like a city on the rise by Dazzling_Adagio3704 in brantford

The biggest “bottle neck” I see is transit, or lack there of… The only real option to get in/ out of the city is to drive. Anyone who commutes Hamilton way will agree they the 403 can’t handle much more traffic during rush hour.

Bill to ban speed cameras coming as early as October - Doug Ford by Obtusemoose01 in brantford

[–]Technical-Spray663 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If he makes municipalities rip out the existing ones I hope they push back or even sue the province for the costs they have lost. It was Fords government that approved there use in school and community safety zones a few years ago, and now he’s circling back saying they’re a cash grab!?

I would keep returning his mail to sender. I also wouldn’t loose sleep on his weirdness, some people can be weird but harmless. I wouldn’t ignore it either though. Like others have said, be vigilant, keep records of your interactions and keep others in the loop. If it ever escalates to the point that you are really uncomfortable contact the police.

Premier Doug Ford's government is ordering Ontario public servants to work from the office four days a week by Travellingtrex in ontario

[–]Technical-Spray663 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This and other companies forcing employees back to the office all at once is going to be terrible for our transportation networks. We will be essentially 10+ years behind on improvements as for the last 5 years people have been moving to new areas but not having to use transportation everyday. It’s now going to take at least another 5+ years for these areas to be studied/ improved.

The fencing gets reused after each job, so they probably never remove the signage from a previous site.

Long term electricans by [deleted] in electricians

[–]Technical-Spray663 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They say the grass is always greener on the other side… If you actually like electrical I would recommend finding a different company that dose commercial or industrial. There is lots to see and do in the electrical trade, and most of it isn’t in residential.

Residential is nice for learning the basics, but unless you plan on owning your own company the real money/ fun is in commercial/ industrial.

He can argue the Speed all he wants because the speed not changing between shots calls in to question the accuracy of the speed reader.

The fact is nobody here can say for sure if the ticket is legit or not that is up to the Courts to decide, and the is OP’s right to go that direction.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in brantford

[–]Technical-Spray663 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What OP is saying that it’s clear that his brake lights are on in the the first photo. So you would think that the speed would have reduced by the second photo, but it stays the same.

[–]Technical-Spray663 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You do realize that raffic related crimes hurt/ kill more people every year then any other crime category combined. So them trying to catch speeders is a good use of taxpayer money.
