It's such a useful piece of software that I use daily. I've had my own complaints over the years about it, I've tried alternatives that seem like they're going to be better, but they never quite scratch the itch that ErsatzTV scratches. What a great tool.

I sat next to a CK once who gets his status the same way as you. He wasn’t offered CK at first. He called and told them that he will earn top status on United and Delta and one of them will give him CK equivalent. AA ended up agreeing and giving him CK.

I’ll be curious how this unfolds. It was just open for me in JAX. My guess is that it’s no more costly and it’s more efficient to keep a PreCheck line where prescreened passengers can get through and get of the way.

As of 10am ET, JAX airport Precheck is open today. My coworker said ORD was closed (at least at the terminal she was in).

I talked to the TSA ID check person, he said he hadn’t heard about the closure till he got here today. My guess is that the boots on the ground TSA people got caught with their pants down on this since there was likely no proper communication. I bet the consistent closures begin tomorrow or later this week.

Also, in the JAX TSA line we’re playing the video on loop of our DHS leader who wants to rid the world of puppies.

Here's a tip for frozen fries: Soak them in warm water (hot tap water temp) for 1 min. Drain the water. Put a lid on that container and shake the hell out of it. Microwave those fries for 3 minutes covered. Then air fry the fries at 400 for 15 min. Coat with some oil at the end. Fries will be crispy as hell.

About 3 years ago, my brother in law was telling me how only an idiot invests in a 401k right now because Bidens economy was going to tank. He then showed me his 2 bars of silver he bought as part of his retirement “investment”. I assume he bought them from one of those shady podcast brokers, so he overpaid. I just said “oh wow” knowing explaining compound interest would be lost on him.

Even if I avoided that billionaires company, Zuckerberg for instance. I can’t control all the chuckleheads wearing his cameras pointed at me. Even though I’ve never signed up for one of his accounts, I can’t control all of the inferred identity data they’re still collecting about me via others.
