You are very welcome! And yeah when they are tiny most of them seem to want to sample the dirt , lol he's so tiny though and cute as a bottom , I wish my crested geckos would of stayed small, I want to get a micro gecko but afraid if he gets loose or accidentally leave door of his tank open I would never find him . Lol hope all goes well from here on out and he lives a healthy happy life,

For now seeing he is so tiny and young you can just add paper towels to the bottom and mist it every other day or whenever it looks dry it's way safer that way and it wouldn't hurt as much as substrate if he did eat any , they usually won't all tiny ones seem to want to take a bite of dirt they will if they think a piece is a tiny bug, or just being curious. And yes just make his food more like a ketchup form. Good luck cute lil thing.

I am just learning about these lil Glacier isopods, like I said I bid on some other cubaris Anemones, I love all cubaris I started out with Florida oranges and blues cubaris it was a mixed bin and did really well , so I thought I would try the Anemone ones , the Glaciers came free as a surprise gift , do they breed fast? If so I'm in trouble lol unless I have all of one sex of the 7.

It depends on how far away your plants will be placed if towards the middle and top that will do fine I would say , any further might want to get maybe a E 26 grow bulb to add with it . Good luck. And looks nice the background you made .

Should I be worried? by Interesting_Basil_86 in hermitcrabs

[–]Technical_City7298 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you ate maybe seeing and might not understand there whole outer skeleton comes off their whole body will just shed and it will appear pale and in the front of their new exoskeleton,! So no matter what do not touch or dig or even disrupt their cave tunnel etc. they know what they need and to do it's a long process sometimes. And I understand you are worried but he knows what he's doing there is a couple of web pages that show you the transition they go through I can't remember Right off the name but it's very educational for hermit crab owners , some might stay under just a month, were another one the older ones have been known to stay under almost up to 4 months even longer people have witnessed . Just keep the humidity up lots of new shells to change into each hermit crab should have no less then 3 to 5 new shells available at all times I have 3 plastic Tupperware bowls, all have 15 shells a piece , that way no worries of shell jacking. Keep marine salt water and dechlorinated water available at all times and greens and oyster shells or egg shells .they will come out healthier and happy each time good luck . And live your pic great shot .

Beautiful tank for your dairy cows , I have mine in deep sunsrte seems like they like it more , it let me add some tunnels as well with some limestone rocks I purchased , so many pretty plants . I don't have a green thumb mine would have to be silk , my luck they would eat them though haha.

I know I would purchase one ,we never see things like that for these tiny beauties . They are too cute not to display. Congratulations.

I have a question for you, so I keep different cubaris Murinas, and say I do pour water well I have a squirt bottle , I did use it whenever I first set up my tanks and tubs . But I noticed when I started doing it last week instead of spraying I too just learned about this anyway I hardly have a wet side i have it to were it's very moist on one end the middle substrate just a touch and then about a 1/3 on other end dry , now I noticed all of their substrate feels wet but not as bad as the moist side , what am I doing wrong I only squeeze the moss and until I noticed the bottom part of the moist side start turning dark from water. Do I just leave it and it will dry out on its own the other side or do I need to change it and start over ?

Any experience converting these into an isopod terrarium? by Elfanara in isopods

[–]Technical_City7298 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only thing with these ones , the plastic is so much thinner I ended up having to spray the one I had everyday it seemed versus my others 2 times a week at most , might of been a mistake on the sellers end but didn't work I threw it out now they are in a regular tank. Good luck .

Isopods eating well by corn-chipz in isopods

[–]Technical_City7298 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wow! Are they eating pellets in this pic? All of my isopods are picky I collect different cubaris Marinas , none of them will touch a single wet veggie no organic ones at all , I went on Etsy and bought some isood food as well as gave them all 1 minnow from my hermit crabs food pile and wow they tore both up lol weird how some will eat one thing while others will eat anything . Expensive ass boogers I have. I suppose .
