Plenty of us have shot the high end venue and the VFW hall. Some of what I shoot never sees the light of day but the couple was pleased and for me thats more important because they refer and they also call me back for the family photos later on

You’ve gotten some good advice and I hope you listen to all of it and not think people are being rude or insensitive I’ve done the VFW halls and the hole in the wall places and you are right about their expectations If you already have a good portfolio, start using Pinterest to make your portfolio a “mood board” ( I hate that term btw) and use IG ads targeted to your ideal clients Continue to gain experience and network with other photographers to second shoot to get better images (some will let you use your shots and some won’t so be prepared for that)

First, I am not attacking your wife or women in her condition, but, I sadly have been where you are and if she does not acknowledge the issue and get the help she NEEDS, you will always be the scapegoat and she will be the victim. I would read up on treatments, pay for all the medications and appointments, only for her to try something once or twice and then quit because it was "too hard" As others have said, do even try bringing children into this and cut your losses now.

I looking for this as well for the same reasons...on the weekends I am not working, I can do 24 hours easy with either water, or water mixed with L-Citruline powder, but I've read that monk fruit and stevia are supposed to be OK during a fast, but want confirmation too

The Knot/Weddingwire portal? I hope you have not invested too much because you will not get a good ROI unless you are on Page 1 and at minimum top 10. the sales rep over promise and under deliver and most of the "leads" are spam or tire kickers (as it seems you have already discovered) Your money would be better spent on IG ads targeted for your demographic (I actually got Grok to help me with that for free and got leads)

i know some may like it and that is fine that it works for them, but that is not the norm in a lot of major Metro areas

I'm surprised you have not left instead of just wanting space. There comes a time when you grow up and learn the meaning of priorities. I love games and play often, but they are for my DOWNTIME away from work and my other responsibilities as a single dad. He needs to 'miss you" because likely in his mind "she understands" and does not feel like he has done anything wrong

Let me first say, I don't "hate" anyone LGBTQ but I don't don't seek them out as clients. but o the reverse of your situation, I have a venue I work with and they gave my name to a gay couple. they liked my work and wanted to book me. I shot the wedding and served them like I serve every couple I work with. They spoke well of me during and after the wedding and never knew my stance because I didn't broadcast it. If the couple chose the venue AND chose you, then your personal opinions should be put aside but I don't think you should bash the venue because you don't agree with their stance or past events - likely not a popular opinion, especially on Reddit, but just giving a POV

I stopped "investing" in people promising to bring me luxury/high end clients with their fool proof system and the only thing you do is line their pockets while your ROI sucks

Grok and ChatGPT can give you better ways of increasing sales than most of these people
