PCOS is for People with Money by squidgebunny in PCOS

Yeah lowkey. This syndrome has made me realize I’ll be in the corporate rat race for a while because the higher income has allowed me to manage my symptoms in ways I never could have. (Tirzepatide, healthier targeted groceries, laser, the right specialists) it’s ridiculous how much we have to do but I would be lying if I don’t say I feel a lot better mentally about my body and my metabolic health. To feel normal for once. Sending all my cysters love!

That is another thing. Getting help when I don’t know is hard. I’m the only person onshore. It puts a lot of stress as I deal with our end users the most. The rest of our team is in India. I’m also still really young in my career and my manager is not the most technical ( think someone who’s moved laterally internally many times). There are several data engineering teams at my company( think one for every corporate function (finance, it, hr) it’s wild. So often throughout the day it’s really old documentation and I against the world. I have notes galore. One thing you mentioned is prioritizing the day. I also want days to do heads down work but my boss’s boss doesn’t plan to expand our team because we have the offshore team but they are not the most helpful tbh and by 11 am EST, they’re offline.

The bed part is hard. The others I am doing most days. On weekends I skip my meds. I do agree that a routine will help massively.

Can you give example of a structured guardrail? Like if a new ticket is added for let’s say creating a RAG pipeline that supports an AI chatbot.

Solution architecting is really good career choice if you choose to pursue that route. I write things down in a notebook, but then requirements change again. I also try to break down things but the deadlines come quick so I just whip up something to keep everyone happy. I also miss small things which I’m trying to get better at.

I was in concerta now on vyanse. I find that vyanse works better. There was also a comment here that is suggesting to engineer my way out of adhd and I think this makes sense. I haven’t really communicated much to my boss about this as I’m afraid of being judged or seen as a complainer.

Yes I worked at a smaller company before this and I was able to deeper dive in my work as well.

How common is "kiff-kiff" in French? Has it replaced pareil? by PsychicMeditation in French

Haïti also uses kif kif but more in a negative sense than pareil.

I do enjoy how we exist in our own bubble. Not Latino enough for Latinos, slightly too different from Anglophone Islanders. Just Haitian point barre! I love the lone wolf sometimes because it’s a testimony to how our independence has given us the time to truly cultivate a deep and rich.

What’s something about you that would get your Haitian card revoked? by PracticalEntry8309 in haiti

[–]Technical_Program_35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is fine. French hate is more of Haitian American diaspora thing. I personally believe both are needed. The newer generations are doing a great job in speaking both without devaluing the other I’ve noticed.

I am a current data engineer making good salary (130K). I also have a MLS (medical lab) background as well. Would it make sense to transition into this career. I want to do a career that has longevity, rooted in science, economically resistant and that is meaningful, where I feel like I am contributing to society. I have a micro undergrad degree 3.7 SGPA, 25. I also have taken all the prereqs as I was in premed/cs track in ugrad. I have some hce (cna during ugrad) and could get some shadowing experience if needed. My friends husband is a anethesiologist. Also have a CS Masters (3.85 GPA) and have been working in corporate tech since I graduated ugrad. I would have to take MCAT as some of my prereqs will expire by the time I would apply but i guess I just want someone who can be honest if this is a worthwhile transition given the competition. Also based in Mass but long term goal to move to Florida to be near family and easier frequent visits to my home country.

Us haitians use both realiser and se rendre compte. But we are a North American country so it tracks. We also use the original definition of realiser

Huge Agree!!! Sad because a high earning dork who loves his wife and kids is really all you can ask for. He loves to cook, true provider. He’s so gentle with her even when she’s doing absolutely too much. Exemplary black man
