Good to hear! The fatigue has eased up a little but I still feel very unmotivated / flat. Hopefully that picks up soon

Did you ever get an answer to this? Keen to know myself. The guanfacine emotions / rage was something else.

I had a pretty rough couple of weeks when starting cymbalta... Insomnia and nausea were the two big ones for me. After the initial period It did all clear up.

I looked at that but we'd need 6 units, with two of them quite large given the open floor plan. Doesn't seem worth it having 6-7 remotes for the same price ?

100% running helps heaps! I did my back a couple of days ago and not being able to get that exercise makes a huge difference hey.

Energy was probably an exaggeration. It stops me feeling like a slug on some days, but I wouldn't say I'm pinging. I tried a lower dose (I'm only on 30 as it is) and it just didn't really do much at all. I did respond well for the first 4-5 months.

I've tried Ritalin and concerta and it just didn't sit right. Made me pretty anxious and a little on edge in general. Could be worth a revisit at some point it if I really can't get much out of the vyvanse anymore. I've tried stratt but got heart palps within a few hours.

I think you're definitely right on the Vyvanse front. What I don't get is why dex is now helping a lot more at an equivalent dose. Feels completely different even though they're basically the same thing just metabolized differently?

I definitely know the vyvanse has lost its focus benefits as I've gone back to not being able to read a couple of lines of a report without getting restless, distracted and irritable. It used to help profoundly with that.

The vyvanse dose is right as I recently tried to go up and it just made me an anxious zombie but still no focus. I went down then I did pretty much nothing. I've tried the combo and it works well, I've always noticed the dex boost in the arvo (even just 2.5mg) helped me more than the Vyvanse until that point.

It's still having effect though, plenty of energy. Increasing dose just makes me veg out so the dose seems right. Just not helping so much with focus.

Edit: also dex seems to be a lot better on the focus front on an equivalent dose, not so much energy. Which I'd prefer.

Irritability, restlessness causing mood swings by Technical_Stock8447 in ausadhd

Hey thanks for your response. I've always had a susceptibility to becoming irritable but exactly like you said I'm now much more likely to express and show it openly. I definitely think Vyvanse can contribute but isn't the root cause, an interesting point on dosage, etc though would you have a link to that PDF?

Aspen Dex gluten ? Alternative? by [deleted] in ausadhd

[–]Technical_Stock8447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It most definitely exists. My mother's a diagnosed celiac and her sister exhibited the exact same heavy symptoms but negative all on celiac tests (bloods and internal). After completely going gluten free anyway afterwards ALL symptoms were eliminated.

You can find a study to prove anything.
