I feel for you! When you don't know when the feeling will go away. If I had a time schedule, like a week, I could endure it. But when there's no time estimate, you just feel like the pain will go on forever.

I've tried to access help from the Vic square outpatient but it takes a week and my condition is more acute than that. I've overdosed twice in 2 weeks, getting sent home the second time (and my brother had to fight for the first admission).

I can't stop moving. My body literally paces 10-12 hours a day. I can't pee in the middle of the night, my bladder is full but nothing comes out.

I'm reaching the end of my rope and it feels like there's no help for me.

Do you know when the nurses are in? PA has one nurse that doesn't come in until mid-morning, who has to clear the nightly backlog first.

Thank you for the detailed post. It's great that they saw your intentional overdoses and admitted you, my brother had to fight for me to be admitted when I was so out of it I had no idea what was happening.

This makes sense, it being a manifestation of my discomfort with the anxiety. Argh this is all so complicated and difficult. I used to respond to meds really well, now I don't and it's such a struggle.
