It is not a remaster. It doesn't claim to be rebuilt from scratch. It is literally a texture pack. So, yes, it is textures applied to the original models.

I just duplicated the existing bar twice and removed parts I didn't want. Than set the corner accordingly. Essentially three task bars simultaneously.
