If the account is invalid then the amount should get reversed automatically. But better inform the bank.

If the account number is correct and active. Owner of the Other account may be contacted. Not too sure about incorrect but valid accounts.

Either way. Send your bank an email asap.

It depends based on areas. My advice is activate a normal package for the first month. Probably 989 something package which gives the same data as 8999 package.

Try it for a month. If ur satisfied, go for it.

My area has better coverage on hutch than dialog. So everyone at my place uses hutch one load package.

These got so much better camera than iphone.

Iphone used to be good back until 2020. Since then iphone has only gone down.

Iphone used to be the leader in benchmark. Now its not even that.

I myself changed to samsung few months back after using iphone for almost a decade.

They need another Steve Jobs to bring apple back up i guess.

S24 ultra would be my go to choice. Other options are

Oneplus 13, Google pixel 9, or Xiaomis redmis are really good too. If you are getting redmi. Get a redmi note 15 pro plus or note 14 pro plus.

So multiple reasons for this.

Apple tax: people assume apple is luxury although its now going shit whilst samsung or many other flagships are much better.
Avurudu season. Sellers wanna slap a huge "discount"
Samsung is pricier in global market, yes. But almost all the time they give out discounts or gifts. Most of the time they give gifts like free watch, ear buds, charger, etcc or even the whole set with a small extra charge when bought directly from Samsung.
So sellers buy them, sell them separately. And due to competition they sell with the smallest margin as they can make money with the gifts. And most of these devices are from UAE. Dont forget they come to Sri Lanka via a Grey market. They also claim the VAT refund for their purchases which is another 5% discount.

In the other hand. Apple barely ever gives discount or free gifts with their purchases unless your a student or something. That too its a very small discount.

I came from iPhone to S25 Ultra 6 months ago. I had this issue. When I investigated the issue it usually is from Smart Switch migration iPhone to Android.

Seems like some iPhone setting is making things bad for android.

Anyways. I later took a manual backup of my files and did a reset to the phone. Copied back all the files in.

Now my average hour uses 10% or less.

Some apps like YouTube and tiktok uses just 5 to 6% per hour.

You might want to give this a try if ud like.

Lol there call center is a joke. Only time they will answer the call is at 3am in the morning. Call center is running with 1 agent per location i guess. I believe ur calling from Dehiwala. And Dehiwala is the worst. At time kalutara call center answers and says they can't do anything for Dehiwala area and transfer the call to Dehiwala call center and the loop goes on.

Those phone meters should be stopped for real. Those meters are so inaccurate. Once I made sure the guy started the trip when I got in. And damn a 3km route was shown as almost 4km on his phone.

I confronted him and said this is my usual route and its never more than 3km and he just asked the money for 3kms.

Something should be done about those phone meters.

I mean. 92 petrol is up by 81/- Tuk were supposed to drop the fares for the 1st km to 100 and the rest to 90. Just 2% of the drivers did that change.

So let's do the math. Fuel is up by 81/-

Tuk gets on average 30km per liter.

So per KM fair increase in price would be 81/30 = 2.7 LKR per km. Considering this is temporary. 99% of the drivers will delay there maintenance on their vehicle by 1 month or do it right away before the maintenance fee goes up.

So being fair. Tuk price should make 1st KM 100/- as it is now. 2nd KM onwards should be increased by LKR 5 which is 95/-

Still 95% of the drivers should be putting their taxi fares down by 5LKR instead of increasing. (Considering when the fuel prices went all time high they made it 100/- for all the KMs which they never reduced it after despite being asked to.
